J’ai beaucoup appris grâce à cette application et des niveaux très difficile à partir du niveau 20 à 30 ( un vrai plaisir ) . I understand ads. But when the ad won’t end and takes you away from the game to the App Store EVERY time it runs.... you loose. Very close to dumping the game because of it. ### 4/5 — Actually Challenging *2020-08-11, version 1.1.9* First Othello game I found where the hardest difficulty level isn’t a doddle to beat. My skill level is currently level 17. So this is a very challenging game. Nice graphics and decent sound. Computer is quick to make its move. Only things which would make it perfect for me is a stats screen which keeps win/lose/draw records on each level which would be very useful so to know our ability and progression. Also possibly online play against other players, although that one isn’t as important. Otherwise great, and already worth the small one-off fee for the ad-free version. ### 4/5 — Its started cheating *2020-05-05, version 1.1.8* Something just changed end April-early May 2020. Bad! *2019-12-29, version 1.1.5* Since you can’t rotate screen, the area where you touch the option icons is too small. I have to aim very carefully if I want to get a new game started. Sometimes, (usually), it takes a couple of touches for the new game button to stop lighting up, then dimming without starting the next game. Other than that, the game offers a lot of skill levels, & realistic graphics. Fun to learn. Not for me. I played 2 game and I deleted the app ### 1/5 — Not terrible, until ... *2021-02-28, version 1.3.0* ... thanks until the ads covered up the menu bar, making it impossible to play the game. I deleted the ad and had to play the usual Google Ads game (“Why did you delete it?” “Why don’t you want to see the ad again?”). They gave me an option, “Ad covered content,” which I selected—but it was all in the game. Google very politely said, “We won’t show that ad again” and replaced it with a Google Ads logo that—guess what—covered the menu bar. I don’t know if this problem is the fault of the game makers or Google, but as it comes down to my relationship to the game, it’s all the same. Bye. ### 1/5 — Great game. The apps doesn't look the greatest but makes it up by having the best AI around for all levels of players and many different features and settings others don't have. This is a great version of Othello to build up some serious skill over time. I’ve beaten up to Level 22 both black and white without hints, undos, or handicaps. The AI is reasonably quick on iPhone SE and even faster on iPhone X. Great for a quick thinking game. Once the game is over, you can review your moves (just can’t undo them). ### 5/5 — Best Othello AI yet. PERIOD. *2018-02-02, version 1.1.2* If you want to get good at this game TS is the app to learn from. The only con is that sometime the AI "thinks" way longer than it should need to when the best move is plainly obvious. I say this because I see it and long before the AI moves I'm yelling, "THERE!!!!! RIGHT THERE!!!!!" And then it eventually does move RIGHT THERE. To the guy complaining the game is making you pass, I know it's been a long time but this might be helpful to others reading these reviews: Passing in Othello is not a choice. You MUST pass if you have no possible moves, and that does happen. So that is not a glitch.
