This new update is the app version of rummaging through the discount pile with no structure or sense. I’ve spend thousands before this terrible update, I bet their sales are plummeting as a result. My wishlist disappeared, the filters don’t work properly and the overall feel is more complicated and far less user friendly. Make it very difficult to choose size. ### 1/5 — Bad Update *2026-08-02* The app update took away or nerfed some of the best features of the app. I loved having my favorite brands populate into a feed, it was the first stop at app launch and the reason I checked regularly. It looks like it’s gone. My wishlist layout is now busy and convoluted, showing things in and out of stock simultaneously with no apparent order. I find myself more frustrated and overwhelmed when using the app. I end up closing out of it much sooner with no conversion, because it’s not tailored to me anymore. ### 1/5 — Awful update!! *2026-08-02, version 9* Nothing loads properly, unable to use and navigate app as before, issues with wishlist etc. Please fix ASAP! ### 1/5 — Terrible *2026-08-01, version 9* The new filter function is laughable. You can no longer filter by color, style, etc. The app forces you to scroll through hundreds of irrelevant items in the hope that you will buy something you’re not looking for. After using THE OUTNET for years, it’s time to move on. ### 2/5 — Update Removed Features *2026-08-01, version 9* With this update, one of the standout features that made the Outnet my preferred choice was removed. Previously, there was a details section which clearly listed materials/fibre %. If there was an ‘editors’ note’ section for an item, this was brief and meaningful. These sections have now been replaced with a “Description” which is a just lengthy AI paragraphs, nearly identical for every item and not worth reading. Materials may or may not be mentioned. There are 3 things we assess when determining an item’s worth to us: Design, construction, and materials. Please bring back this detail section asap. Most people like to know what they are paying for and AI slop doesn’t cut it. (Ps- as noted by other commenters, you messed up our wishlists. This “updated” version I cannot tell which part being upgraded but more like downgraded for customer. Now, I cannot check the materials section for the product, so I am totally clueless of things I might buy. And the size rn also becoming very confused. It used to be able to converted watever size to US size. But I didn’t see this feature after updating the app either. Filters don’t work, especially size filter - it shows all different sizes and you need to take ages to pick up all of them. It was much better at past when you just choose your size and it matches all brand sizes. All my lists have gone. Dresses, you used to be able to filter by length, or sleeves/sleeveless, formal, summer, etc. it doesn’t seem you can anymore. You can’t favourite designers or filter your size without going through every single type of clothing and the sizes associated with it. The app is busy and not easy to review clothes.
