## What is The Parlour?

Do you love ice cream? Do you hang out in Durham, NC? You may already be familiar with the delicious, regionally-renowned treats at The Parlour!

And with our new iPhone app, you can just reach in your pocket to find out we're scooping at both locations. If you have really big pockets, it works on iPad too.

You can also pre-order our amazing ice cream cakes and more for pickup (2+ day lead time required). Pay with Apple Pay, credit card, or The Parlour gift card.   

“But I could do that on my phone, via theparlour.co”, you say? 

Sure, maybe, but c’mon! You have so many browser tabs open already! Are you really going to open another one and poke around looking for the links? Wouldn’t you rather use the adorable ice cream cone logo on your Home Screen and tap around some convenient native-app tabs?

Still not convinced? What if I told you the app has an Archive of all the flavors we’ve ever made (well, except some extra-limited editions, and maybe a few that we forgot to publish on our website back in the day)? And you can mark flavors as Favorites and even receive notifications when they show up on the menu!

A few small changes:
• Gave the Flavor Archive an A-Z strip along the edge so you can jump straight to a letter instead of scrolling
• Fixed some bugs that could result in cart and checkout being out of sync

### 2.0 — 2026-08-28

A major update! You can now place orders for ice cream cakes, ice cream by the gallon, and ice cream sandwich packs. Pay in-app using a credit card, gift card, or Apple Pay. If you sign in: you can view your order history and send us messages, and use saved credit cards that work on the app or our website. If you don’t sign in, you can still get anonymous push notifications when your Favorited flavors become available
