The perfect egg-timer is based on scientific proof and because every egg is different, the timer calculates  the exact cooking time  based on egg size, altitude and temperature.

Usage: In order to measure the exact size of your egg, simply place it on your iPhone and set the size using your fingertip for. Determine your current altitude (or let it be determined by GPS), tell your iPhone if you kept your eggs  in the freezer or at room temperature and how you would like to have your eggs – soft-boiled, hard-boiled or something in-between.

Place your eggs in a single layer in a saucepan. Add enough cold water to just cover the eggs. Bring them to a rapid boil over high heat and start the countdown. The iPhone will signal when the eggs are done. The attraction: The egg spy lets you see the changes inside your boiling egg!

### 1/5 — Leider unbrauchbar geworden

Ich nutze diese App meiner Erinnerung nach seit dem iPhone 4, fast jedes Wochenende und war immer sehr zufrieden! Die Eier werden, bzw. wurden perfekt! Die Updates angepasst an die neuen iPhone Modelle (Display) haben zwar immer etwas länger auf sich warten lassen, kamen aber in der Regel. 
Da ich erst vor ein paar Tagen auf eine neues iPhone und auch iOS gewechselt habe, weiß ich nicht wie lange schon und auch nicht ob es am größeren Display oder an iOS26 liegt, aber die App ist unbrauchbar geworden. Ein Eier das vorher immer zwischen 7 und 8 Minuten gebraucht hat, kann jetzt nicht nach 3 oder 4 Minuten fertig sein. 
Und da ich gesehen habe, dass das letzte Update nun schon 4 Jahre her ist, geh ich auch nicht mehr davon aus, dass da noch groß angepasst wird. Wirklich schade, aber so ist das leider… Wird gelöscht und nach Alternativen gesucht.

Ich habe die Eieruhr (damals Eispion) schon sehr lange in Gebrauch und bin begeistert. Beim Segeln oder in den Bergen, überall kommt man mit den verschiedenen geogr. Höhen, den Eigrößen und den Eitemperaturen zurecht.

Nur leider, seit ich auf das iPhone 17 Pro Max umgestellt habe funktioniert die Messung der Eigröße am Bildschirm nicht mehr. Es müsste der neue Auflösung im Programm anhepasst werden. Ist das möglich?

Nach wie vor die beste Eieruhr dies fürs iPhone gibt. Nutze sie jedesmal und die  Ergebnisse sind perfekt. 🥚Auch auf meinem Island Urlaub mit dem Gaskocher perfekte Ergebnisse.😀😀
Nur eins würde ich mir wünschen. Bitte bitte bitte passt doch mal die Oberfläche ans aktuelle iOS und die aktuellen iPhones an🙏🏻🙏🏻

Nutze die App schon Jahre und hat auch super funktioniert. Aktuell gibt es anscheinend ein Problem beim Ei ausmessen. Das Bild und die tatsächlichen Maße stimmen nicht überein, so bekommt man leider eine falsche Zeit angezeigt.

aktuelle Geräte unterstützt würden. Die Größe passt so gar nicht, wenn man z.B. ein iPhone 15Pro nutzt. Auf einem iPhone 8 oder iPad 7.Gen. ist alles wie es soll. Daher nur 4*

Scale is out when sizing egg (by about 1.4x the height). So you measure an egg. The app gets it wrong and your egg ends up undercooked.

Die App erfordert eine Anpassung an IPhone 15 Pro Max, die Messfunktion funktioniert hier nicht zuverlässig und gibt falsche Werte raus. Tip an den Entwickler: Eine Kalibrierfunktion einbauen( Lineal aufs Display legen und damit dann die Werte am Mobiltelefon anpassen. Damit würden sich dann zukünftige Anpassungen erübrigen.
