### 1/5 — To pill club to this mess

*2023-07-26*

I was using the pill club, i used my health insurance to get my birth control, so i had a year subscription with them. Nurx shows up and i had to pay for the consultation i had already done and paid for just to find out their refusing my health insurance. And than i decided, whatever ima just pay for it out of pocket for a little bit and go from there. And so just as i do so, i get a message saying they see that i have an existing subscription with them, and that i can continue it as long as i confirm i want to keep that subscription ongoing. I confirmed it, and they said that they will go through processing and preparing to shipping my order. They tell me if they dont respond with a status update to leave a message. They NEVER sent me a status update. I LEAVE A MESSAGE and they never replied. STILL HAVENT REPLIED. I am on my last week of birth control and my refill was supposed to be here almost THREE WEEKS AGO. They dont leave any notifications, they dont reply to any messages, its literally just them leaving everything in the dark. So now im about to end up most likely not going to get my birth control, and im gonna have to experience breakthrough bleeding all over again for two months. This is so goofy.

### 1/5 — Awful patient care

*2023-06-15*

I would give TPC 0 stars if I could. I had issues with customer care while they were still in business, because there was no option to receive your next refill of birth control before your period week- which was super anxiety-inducing, making me worry that I’d be missing my next dose if anything happened with shipping.

Now that TPC is shutting down, they have handled patient transfers awfully. Their current customers were given little to no notice, and it wasn’t until yesterday that I got a text from TPC that I should transfer my prescription to Nurx. The text didn’t even announce that they were shutting down. Their phone number does not pick up and the only place I’m given the option to transfer my prescription to is Nurx. The way their website & app were set up literally would not let me do anything else. I have a little under 2 weeks before I run out of hormonal birth control pills, and I am going to be incredibly upset if this messes up my cycle because I don’t get my medication in time.

### 3/5 — Thrown out

*2023-06-13*

I love this app I really do. It’s been so great, even send you extra goodies. The only problem I have is that they just announced they’re shutting down.. with no notice whatsoever.. they sent me an email today saying TODAY is the deadline to switch over prescriptions to a pharmacy of your choosing.. they also said they stopped answering phone calls yesterday.. I only have one packet. I don’t even think they’re gonna ship my next package (supposed to get it in august) I have literally no idea what I’m supposed to do now..

### 5/5 — Best Thing Ever

*2023-06-02*

I used to go to Walmart to fill my birth control prescription but one day I went and they told me they didn’t have it even though I received a call beforehand telling me they did. So my mom told me about The Pill Club/Favor and I’ve never looked back. By far the EASIEST and most convenient way to get your prescriptions hassle free!! 11/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone🥰🙏❤️💊

### 1/5 — Could be better.

*2023-06-02*

NEW EDIT: I decided to continue to try this since my last review. However, It’s gotten worse. Way worse. 0 communication and an ever harder hassle to get my pills. I’m switching companies because this one’s impossible. Don’t waste your time ladies!

I unfortunately had to change my 5 star to a 1 star review.. This was my favorite business **before** it was Favor, i’m not sure what’s much different besides the fact that it’s impossible to get any communication now and I have to go to war just to receive my pills. It’s pretty frustrating as Thepillclub use to be my favorite! I’ve asked multiple times to send my pills out sooner and it’s been disregarded or postponed to their time with no help for the most part leading me without any pills left. So that blows too. Hoping this is just a temporary issue.

### 1/5 — Terrible service

*2023-05-18*

I signed up for the pill. I paid my money. They wouldn’t complete my order for two weeks but would not stop harassing me about skin care crap. I’m not a hopeless teenager. If I want skincare topicals that don’t work I’ll speak to a dermatologist. They never completed my order and I couldn’t speak to a healthcare professional to discuss their recommendation over the brand I’m already using. This was such a waste of time. They have terrible communication and are highly unprofessional. Use at your own risk. It’s your potential pregnancy/ future abortion you’re risking, or worse medical complications if they prescribe garbage you’re not supposed to be taking but can’t speak to a professional to discus with.

**Developer response:** Hi there, we're sorry to hear about any difficulties you may have experienced obtaining your prescription and we'd love the opportunity to have our team look further into this issue. Our patient care team is also available 6 days a week to follow up regarding outstanding patient questions or concerns. We can be reached through email at support@thepillclub.com, or by phone at (772) 217-4557. We hope to hear from you soon!

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2023-05-14*

Wow… I should have read the reviews before signing up. The app said it should take no more than 5-7 business days, but I’ve been struggling to get my pills since April 25th, so essentially almost a month. The text feature is slow, and they don’t tell you any information other than “reviewing and contact you soon”. They’ll message you after hours and when you respond you just get the automated “sorry you’ve missed us” which absolutely makes no sense. Contacting their customer service almost does nothing as they can’t answer any questions, and they just tell you one of their nurses will be texting you soon. It’s just a sham and absolutely terrible.

**Developer response:** Hi there, we're sorry to hear about any difficulties you may have experienced obtaining your prescription and we'd love the opportunity to have our team look further into this issue. ### 2/5 — Used to be great, not so much recently

*2023-04-30*

I’ve been using pill club for the past year which has been great since I don’t have a car to go to a pharmacy. But a few weeks ago, while I was on my sugar pills, waiting for my new shipment to come in, they informed me that they don’t take my insurance and i would have to pay out of pocket. Since I was tight on time (I had to start a new pack in a few days) I immediately added my payment and started the shipment. The shipment was delayed, and at that point I was three days late to starting my new pack so I called and they said they could transfer to a pharmacy near me to make it quicker, so I agreed. When I went to pick it up, first of all they said I hadn’t paid for it yet… and so I did that and then when I got home I looked inside and saw it was the WRONG PRESCRIPTION. So now I have to wait probably another week + to get this corrected and my cycle is completely off. Not happy with the level of customer service and accuracy, which is absolutely necessary in healthcare.

**Developer response:** Hi Morgan, thank you for taking the time to share feedback about your experience. Since we strive to provide a convenient and fast service, we are never happy to hear when our patients have issues related to obtaining their prescription. If you have any outstanding concerns you'd like to discuss with our team, we encourage you to contact us directly and we'll be happy to review this with you. For urgent questions or concerns, we are also available via phone at (772) 217-4557.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t Work

*2023-04-16*

I’ve used The Pill Club for years but recently both the app and the website haven’t been working. I’ve tried multiple times to do a skin care consultation but can never get past adding what state I live in. Both on the app and on the website I get stuck on a “Please wait” screen that never changes. On the site I get a page unresponsive pop up. I’ve tried on the app with wi-fi, I’ve tried on the app using data, I’ve tried closing and restarting the app, I’ve tried deleting and redownloading the app, and on the website I’ve tried in different web browsers (chrome and safari) and none of it works. Since the app and site aren’t working I’ll have to use another service if this isn’t fixed.

**Developer response:** Hi there, thank you for your feedback! We're very sorry to hear you experienced some difficulties with our service. We sincerely understand the importance of receiving a consultation. We'd be happy to go over any questions you may have and encourage anyone with outstanding questions or concerns to give us a call at (772) 217-4557 where we are available 6 days a week.

### 1/5 — Garbage/canceled service

*2023-03-29*

Before the company became “Favor”, The Pill Club was amazing. The costumer service was quick and efficient, now it takes forever and they ignore all your messages and just send generic answers. I’ve been trying to get my pill for over a week now, between ignored emails and text messages, I decided to call bc my pill is almost gone, the girl said she would add my request as emergency, which she never did and I proceeded to get another generic email. They decided I need a video call to go through with a simple refill… I finally decided to do it just to get the freaking pill, I scheduled a time and was present on the waiting room for the call, no one ever picked up and I kept waiting like an idiot. It used to be good when it was just The Pill Club and not “Favor”, all they care about is your money and don’t give a crap about your personal requests and needs. After so much frustration I decided to cancel my subscription and pay a little more with Nurx, which seems to be much more professional. It should not be this stressful just to be able to get your birth control.

**Developer response:** Thank you for taking the time to share feedback about your experience. Since we strive to provide a convenient and fast service, we are never happy to hear when our patients face delays in receiving their package. If you have any outstanding concerns you'd like to discuss with our team, we encourage you to contact us directly and we'll be happy to review this with you. For urgent questions or concerns, we are also available via phone 6 days a week at (772) 217-4557.
