It has incredible potential. However, locking essential features like base remodeling, the Town Pack, and the Fort Pack behind hard, real-money paywalls completely breaks the game's progression and immersion for dedicated players. My Request to the Developers: Please implement a system that respects your community's time. You should allow players to choose between grinding a good amount of in-game gold to unlock these towns and fort features and also the legendary ships naturally, or paying real money to unlock them instantly. This approach would keep the game highly profitable via players who want shortcuts, while allowing dedicated, historical-strategy fans to fully enjoy the empire-building mechanics through hard work and gameplay. As it stands, the current system completely stops free-to-play progression. Thought I’d go for it again - full of ads now not worth your time. Previous comments 5yr ago. This game is probably the best open world shop game I know. You have so much freedom todo as you please it’s great. It’s a bit annoying to see everyone who is saying “add their 5 ships to the store”, “remove wages”, “remove hiring costs”, etc. These people don’t understand how the game works, 1st and 2nd rates are meant to be a challenge to capture which I greatly enjoyed the challenge, removing wages is dumb yes you might be in a sticky situation but I’ve been there as well, play it smart and loose a couple ships or you know actually do stuff that earns you money? My only issue with the game (it’s a serious one), I’m playing on an iPhone 11 and although not a massive issue depending which way I hold my phone the sails or repairs are hidden under the notch that is on the phone, could you please put in a feature that lets you re organise the button layout. ### 5/5 — Rememberable *2026-02-10, version 10.2.10* Nostalgic, simple while complicated, great game ### 2/5 — Ads ads ads *2026-01-27, version 10.2.9* Seems like a pretty game, but every 4 minutes, it shows me an ad for Kings Shot, and tells me how great that game is because it has no ads. I would think that a good strategy for hooking new players would be to let them play through the first part of the game (tutorial) with no ads, so they can discover how fun it is, and maybe want to keep playing. And as the title says it is challenging with the realistic ship battles that remind me of assassin’s creed black flag. But you can always win with a good strategy. It could use a few updates like more maps on it or new ships but it is amazing. The campaign is well done, and is difficult but not extremely hard, and has an amazing story. Though it has flaws it is a very good game where you don’t need to spend money to have a good ship as you can build your own, and customise with names, paint and also sail images. You could play in casinos in your bases and if i remember correctly in other cities but as of now that i have downloaded the game on my new phone i do not see the skill. Il est d’une grande richesse et permet des heures de fun à ne plus en finir. En plus du mode histoire complètement addictif, le jeu offre une grande diversité de bateaux a acquérir au cour de la partie. Je l’ai déjà recommencé plusieurs fois et malheureusement je ne connaît personne d’autre que moi qui y joue et je trouve ça fortement dommage. Chers développeurs, le seul bémol de ce jeu est qu’il n’y a malheureusement pas une assez longue histoire, je l’ai moi-même après y avoir déjà joué et donc après avoir bien pris en main les bateau, fini très vite, l’histoire de quelques jours seulement. Le jeu est excellent, un peu en dessous de « the pirate : plage of death » que je trouve encore un cran au dessus.
