Have to close app and restart to continue playing. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but didn’t fix it. Sometimes on iPhone it just continues to crash and have to reboot iPhone to use again. But I thought I would give them another try and guess what? Then after the latest update was applied, if the phone screen goes to sleep or you open another app, you lose the stream. ### 2/5 — Just another Fox News *2023-06-05* As someone who has been sick of the bias in NZ media recently, I thought The Platform would be a refreshing new outlook on the News. Immediately, I was swamped with terms such as “woke”, “the left”, and “radical agenda”. The headlining article was “Deathly Silence by our leaders shows NZ’s level of wokeness: Tyranny and anarchy rules when free speech dies”. This article showed a very aggressive outlook on the government’s “radical policies” and how the mainstream media is controlled by the left-leaning government’s PIJF. Pretty ironic considering their articles are fodder for conservatives, but for $13 a month you can listen to more of what you want to hear! They use the name “The Platform” as an obnoxious take on self righteousness when in fact it’s just another form of right wing news. Unbiased media requires leveraging both sides of the story, something they clearly don’t do. Sure, the mainstream media censors certain information but I’d rather that then the blatant confirmation bias The Platform shows. My advice, listen to this with a grain of salt ### 2/5 — Fix please *2022-05-09, version 0.6.4* App easy to use, but will only play if you are in the app. So always times out when phone closes. Assume it’s an easy fix? ### 3/5 — App is frozen even when newly installed using both iPad and iPhone *2024-07-07, version 2.1.6* Have reloaded app a number of times with no success to get it to play. Do love the program you have when I have previously been able to listen ### 3/5 — Where is the accessibility? *2022-05-17, version 0.6.4* Developers need to sort out the accessibility of this app. At the moment blind people who use VoiceOver on iOS can't use the app. Apple even provides its own tools so you can test accessibility for God sake. It's 2022, sort it out. I realise it’s early days but the app needs to be much more user friendly. I listen to you while I walk the dog but frequently the regular radio stations work but not the Platform..!
