### 4/5 — Excellent Real-Time Data Collection for Students

*2025-09-25, version 4.0.1*

While there are some UI features that could be improved, overall the PocketLab Voyager is an awesome tool for students to explore real-time data to answer a variety of science questions. My students typically don’t have any issues connecting the Bluetooth sensors to their iPads.

### 2/5 — Nein

*2023-05-25, version 4.0.1*

Nein

### 4/5 — User interface foibles

*2022-08-10, version 3.3*

Some menus needlessly destroy other settings.
Despite meter being much smaller than graph, each meter in a multiple-measurement project gets its own screen, so we can’t see both meters at the same time.
Bluetooth selection menu is just a white screen with an orange triangle.

### 2/5 — The App needs improvements

*2021-08-16, version 3.3*

This is a great product! I love the sensor and the way collecting data. But this App side definitely needs a lot of improvements. I can barely see any button in the app due to the same text and background are in the same color. So I have to click each one to figure it out. Hope to see more updates on the UI of this App! Again I still really like this product and see lots of potentials in it!

### 4/5 — Good but needs improvement.

*2018-04-10, version 2.2*

I love the pocket lab sensor itself, but I feel the app lacks some things that do not let the pocket sensor fulfill its full potential. Here are some things that are missing from the app that I would love to see in upcoming updates: averages, minimums, and maximums of graphs after recording, examples of what the sensors do built into the app. And more but I'm to lazy to say the others.

### 5/5 — Awesome product

*2016-03-03, version 0.3*

I really enjoy using this with my kids. We showed it to the physics teacher who borrowed it and still hasn't given it back he like it so much. Good things here

### 5/5 — Awesome product

*2016-03-03, version 0.3*

I really love using this product in my class. Lab time is now fun for the kids

### 5/5 — Pocket lab making science comprehensible

*2016-03-02, version 0.3*

I love using this with my nephew. We launch rockets and race cars and now I can teach him along the way. This is really pioneering how to show kids that everything can bring knowledge

### 5/5 — So cool!

*2015-07-30, version 0.2.1*

My PocketLab arrived in the mail yesterday and it's awesome! Worked right out of the box. The app is pretty neat, easy to view and record data and the video integration is really cool. Lots of fun so far!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Loading Screen………..forever

*2026-05-18, version 4.0.1*

Very excited to get to use my phone to work with the sensor kits but never got past the loading screen. Such a shame the product looked. Very promising.

### 1/5 — Oh how the mighty have fallen..

*2023-11-08, version 4.0.1*

I was one of the first purchasers of The Pocketlab and Clifton (founder) promised all kinds of beta features and future compatibility with Google Science Journal. That compatibility never came and I gave up using this product for the most part. Recently I pulled it out for a project, and found that the PocketLab team has completely changed their app and taken away almost all user functionality for taking measurements not related to their stupid curriculum. This device is nothing more than an accessory to their educational curriculum now and is no longer of any use to the non-educator. Myriad Sensors, Inc is a joke of a company.

### 1/5 — no

*2023-03-22, version 4.0.1*

no

### 1/5 — woah

*2021-11-02, version 3.3*

ms peterson made me download this . 1 star

### 1/5 — Bad app

*2021-08-10, version 3.3*

Just a bad app in general

### 1/5 — 4 Years… Really

*2021-07-24, version 3.3*

While I love your sensors, your continued lack of vision and disregard for how your memory enabled tools are used in the field is utterly disappointing. Why is your Lab Notebook an online only / WebBased impediment to data collection, research, and analysis in the wild? Why is this App not an equivalent or better product?

Ridiculous

### 1/5 — Trash app

*2020-10-29, version 3.1*

It’s trash asf

### 1/5 — Amazing Device But Flakey App

*2019-11-24, version 3.0*

While the device, I have the PocketLab Air, is pricey as a long time science geek I love it. The app though, both the iPad and iPhone version, is very temperamental when downloading data. Hopefully the obvious UI and stability bugs will be fixed soon. I write iOS apps for a living and this app would never make it past even a lazy QA group.

### 1/5 — Worst App Ever!!!!

*2018-05-30, version 2.3*

DONT USE THIS APP YOU NEED TO BUY PRODUCTS JUST TO USE THIS!

### 1/5 — Recent update does not connect with sensor

*2018-04-09, version 2.2*

Your recent update does not connect with sensor device. Software CRASH during connect attempt! Previous versions worked very well. Please FIx and Please teat new releases in detail
Before releasing to forced download to users!!

### 5/5 — Great for the classroom

*2022-10-05, version 4.0*

Really engaging for my students in 6th grade. We’ve done rollercoasters and chemical reactions so far and the kids loved using the PocketLab sensors and app way more than what we did before.
