Is this any way to treating paying customers? It is like a punishment for using their service! ### 1/5 — App is not reliable *2019-11-10* This app is a good idea but a bad implementation of what a news application should provide, i.e. access to news. This updated version of the Press Enterprise app offers nothing in the way of breaking local news. However, if you are dying to read a two-day old top story about Charlie, a cocker spaniel available for adoption in Redlands, this is the place to visit (nothing against Charlie, hope he finds a home soon!) ### 1/5 — It's a hot mess *2017-05-02* Hard to navigate, no option for local city news and no ability to see local street traffic like before. Tab for "local news" gives you everything in a 2 county area. What happened to being able to pick the "local news" by city? Trash. ### 1/5 — New app is junk *2026-05-20* The new press-enterprise app on my iPhone os26.4 is ok if you use the article by type list but the curated newspaper layout version which I prefer is junk. About half of the words are run together with no spaces. The lines split into paragraphs at random places. Header lines are not always at the correct font size. The Next and Previous buttons are missing. The “improved “ method is to swipe left or right but only works if you pinch the screen to get the article positioned to make the software happy. I will continue to use the previous version until it stops working. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback on the eNewspaper within The Press Enterprise app. We are preparing updates to this feature that will be released in the coming months that we believe will provide improvements to the reader experience. Subscribers will be notified of these changes when they are released. ### 1/5 — Cannot log into my account. *2026-02-28* Whenever I try to log into my account using the app it sends me to NPUSER login page but then says: “your account, oops something went wrong.” **Developer response:** We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble accessing your subscription through our mobile app. For log-in help, please go to the settings menu in the app, which can be found under the gear icon, and scroll down to the Support section. I have spoken to customer service and with the lady's suggestions applied, the app doesn't work on my iPhone Pro max 15. I am still getting run-on spelling errors. This is not up to the previous standard that I expected from The Press Enterprise. ### 3/5 — Ok app, UI could use work. *2019-05-30* On the iPhone XS the menu button is too close to the top left corner, making it difficult to press and not back to an if it is displayed in the top left corner. Also a bug where you open up the collapsible menu, it restarts the app. ### 2/5 — Frustrating app! *2017-05-12* "Download the new App" seems to be the welcome screen.
