## What is The Pulse?

Pulse shows you what's actually happening right now at the places near you — how
long the wait is, who's already there, and what tonight looks like inside.

KNOW THE WAIT BEFORE YOU GO
Real people report the wait as they walk in. Every venue shows the current wait,
how many people reported it, and how long ago — so you can tell live information
from last night's at a glance. Gold means live.

PHOTOS FROM TONIGHT, GONE IN 24 HOURS
There's no permanent feed to curate. Every post disappears within a day of being
taken, so what you're looking at is what's happening now — not a highlight reel
from last summer. Post from the venue, and it's gone by tomorrow.

SEE WHERE YOUR FRIENDS TURNED UP
Follow the people you actually go out with. Venue cards show who's already there
before you commit to the walk across the neighborhood.

THE DETAILS YOU'D OTHERWISE CALL AHEAD FOR
Hours, menus, and whether there's a pool table or keno — on the venue page, so
you don't have to phone and ask.

EVERY PLACE ON ONE SCREEN
The map shows the whole neighborhood at once, newest report first, so you can see
where the night actually is before you decide where it should be.

BUILT ONE NEIGHBORHOOD AT A TIME
Pulse is live in South Boston. Every venue was added by hand, with real hours and
real coordinates — not scraped from a directory. More neighborhoods follow once
this one works.

A NOTE ON LOCATION AND CONTENT
Pulse checks you're at the venue only at the moment you post or report a wait —
that's what keeps reports honest. You can browse everything without sharing
location at all. Posts and comments are moderated, every post can be reported,
and any user can be blocked. You can delete your account, and everything in it,
from Settings at any time.
