Easily record and store images and video
Using the app, you can create a car inspection report (selecting from many different types), and with interactive diagrams, pinpoint precisely where damage is on a vehicle. In order to confirm your findings and show the full extent of the damage, the app allows images and videos to be recorded and stored alongside the report. Everything is stored for reference any time you need it.

Easily identify new damage
The app creates a ‘condition history’ of every vehicle inspected and makes it easy to compare and identify new damage.

Support for digital signature
PurInspect supports digital signing so you can ask for the customer’s signature, for authorisation, validation or agreement, and email a personalised copy of the inspection report straight to them on completion.

### 2.8.1 — 2026-02-10

This release includes multiple enhancements and updates: 5 new interactive vehicle diagrams (Box Trailer, Reefer Trailer, Tractor Unit, Minivan and 4-Door Pickup). Improvements to the photo taking process in the gallery. Enhancement to submit pending inspections more often and a fix to stop the 'Your Reference' field from auto-populating from the previous inspection.

### 2.7.0 — 2025-08-28

Photos and videos on existing damage items will no longer be downloaded at the start of an inspection.  Instead, the photos and videos will be downloaded on demand, when the user selects the option to view these on the existing damage item.  In addition, enhancements have been applied on the supporting website, to allow the user to view the date, time and file size of all new photos and videos uploaded on the inspections.

The external API has been updated, and the session idle time has been extended along with other minor updates.

### 2.5.4 — 2025-04-29

This new version includes security updates to the app framework and minor fixes.

### 2.4.3 — 2024-04-09

This new update includes the ability to inspect on Electric and Plug-In Hybrids. Also, expanding checklists functionality to display before and/or after the vehicle damage review process. Minor improvements and fixes also included in this update.
