A good selection of texts and engaging activities. You also get given comprehension questions to answer. As well as that, it helps guy with your grammar because it takes out all the punctuation and you have to put it back in correctly. Reading Realm helps you with your spellings and teaches you to use the right tense. I use it when I miss class because I get sick. Children can use it independently or with an adult. It covers a wide range of skills related to reading and writing. The App is well set out, with a fantastic array of titles from many different genres, to choose from. The App is easy to use which is ideal when children are using it. It’s packed full of engaging and exciting texts for children of all ages and encourages them to discuss and really ‘pick apart’ the content to show their understanding. The ‘Discussion Realm’ in particular is a fantastic section which can be used to enhance guided reading, with the different strands of questioning clearly labelled to provide ready-made discussions around the extract in a child-friendly way. The thought that has gone into the presentation is fab, especially the function to allow different background colours to support children who might otherwise need to use a coloured overlay. Overall, an awesome resource! ### 2/5 — Bugs *2019-08-28, version 1.4* Looks good but when I have played on it you cannot select all of the answers in the spelling. The grammar section says that something is wrong when it isn’t and no help to identify what it thinks is wrong.
