## What is The Real Time App?

Connects people who care about their communities’ news and what is covered by the media.

Creates a closed network displaying geo and time-verified photos and video about local newsworthy events.

Covers “real news” by providing local and national Media outlets with verified content to use in their broadcasts and publications.

The story of Real-Time® begins with two events.

The first event is the horrific video which captures a woman recording her boyfriend, Philando Castile in July of 2016. He had just been shot by police while sitting in the front seat of their car while being pulled over for a broken taillight.

Where did it happen? The specific location, does anyone remember?

What was the outcome?

The second was the terrorist attack in Nice France on July 14th, 2016 during Bastille Day celebrating. The attack claimed the lives of more than 80 people and injured nearly 500. A very shaky video went a viral shot from the balcony of a nearby house. A truck is seen murderously plowing through the crowd.

Were there other videos? Do they provide any clarity to the situation?

How many people actually know precisely when and where this happened?

Solutions. Real-Time® fills a need by providing geographically verifiable videos and pictures. Collaborating point of view with other videos and pictures.

The Media references videos through YouTube. Which is a jungle at best. Real-Time® provides fidelity of location and eliminates “false flags” significantly reducing “spin”. Newsrooms can confidently pull images, videos, and text from the Real-Time® community.

Users can tag locations and topics, to see what is trending across the network, and have the option to focus on any location via the search bar.

Real-Time® can be linked to existing social media easily or as a standalone app. It’s essentially showing up to the beautiful playground of Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter instead of doing its own thing in the abandoned lot across the street. Stand on the shoulders of giants. Not re-inventing the wheel per say…

The limitations of an app like Periscope are not utilizing existing social, Hashtags, Trending, less precise geographical verification tools. Real-Time® metadata cannot be manipulated. Where vid/pic is taken is where it’s posted to on the map.

Real-Time® users will have a user agreement similar to Facebook. Users can flag other vids/pics for possible misuse which is sure to happen.

Newsroom managers, publishers, and others in media: We want to work with you! The RealTime app is a tool you can utilize and have your listeners/viewers/readers become active participants in spreading important news in your communities. Display the RealTime icon on the content you publish, and show that your organization values real news. Rest well knowing that your content has been verified for time/location. Get access to reliable content not only from your local community but from other RealTime users around the world.

Journalists: Use the RealTime app to capture newsworthy content that is accessible and valuable to media outlets. Submit content into RealTime, knowing that it can be used for a higher purpose and help maintain journalistic integrity. Log your content into RealTime so that it is broadly available for distribution.

News Enthusiasts: Get on the map when it comes to important news. If you’re at a large public event, a march, a rally, or some other gathering, you don’t have to be just a “person in the crowd” but become a valuable contributor to the documentation of what really happened.

### 5/5 — Wow

*2020-10-29, version 1.2*

I am SO impressed. Inspires me to be better in my community. Untouched footage building up leaders in their own communities to step up and take action. Effective tools and resources. You can tell these people really care. We need MORE ♥️

### 5/5 — Revolutionary concept in practice

*2019-09-07, version 1.0*

Excited for this app to show the world that data should always be verifiable and manipulation should not be possible. The media has been given far too much discretion in what “truth” it chooses to illuminate. Why not just have full transparency instead of pandering to emotions? Logic will always prevail over emotional decision making and it’s time our technology agrees.

### 5/5 — Awesome!

*2019-09-05, version 1.0*

This is a real game changer for the photography enthusiast and weekend reporter! This concept could really revolutionize “man on the street” reporting! Clear and transparent. Can’t wait to see all the ways this is used. Great job!

### 5/5 — Amazing concept I love it

*2019-09-02, version 1.0*

Share your experience real time, live, on location without all of the hype of Facebook and Twitter and all that.

### 5/5 — Location verification on my pictures!

*2019-08-30, version 1.0*

I take pictures for work. At times it is important for me to be able to verify and prove to others that the picture was taken where it says it was taken.

Regular pictures can have their location data edited to show a different location. Not so with Real Time pictures, the location it was taken from is locked into the file data itself.

This app is going to be very helpful for me in what I do. Keep up the good work developers.

### 5/5 — Real, legit location information

*2019-08-30, version 1.0*

Imagine the benefit to those taking pictures of real time events. The location the images were taken from with this app is permanently and irrevocably embedded in the image file itself.

Unlike regular JPEG pictures, whose meta-data can be edited, the location date stored in these pictures are an encrypted part of the image file.

Anyone can verify and have built-in, inherent proof of the exact location of your Real Time pictures.

There is no question you were where the Real Time pictures you take were taken from.

Very cool stuff.

### 5/5 — Excellent & Easy

*2019-08-30, version 1.0*

Excellent concept and easy to use app. This can really make a difference!
