It somehow gets worse with each update… just endless glitches. They wanted to give me thousands and thousands less than appraisal value. I’ve now been trying to get said bracelet back over a month. They also listed it under another sku when it was supposed to be shipped back. You have to be very diligent when BOTH buying and selling. KNOW your item. Do you research and do not trust the written descriptions alone. When I send items in, I often have to send an email asking for a correction. Things like the hardware color on a bad will be listed as gold, when they are actually silver, or a model name will be incorrect. Sometimes, even the dimensions of something are incorrect. I had to get an exception to return an item once because the stated dimensions were wrong. This is pretty annoying. That said, you can usually get these types of issued corrected. And, I have found some nice items here. The updates get worse and worse. On top of that most of the pictures of the items are incorrect as are the descriptions. I’ve had to email support on several occasions about items to find out if the size listed or the picture was incorrect. They sold them for a decent price and the percentage I got was pennies, it was laughable and infuriating. AI is a powerful tool but my god their product authentication process is spotty at best when people are involved but to let AI take the wheel completely? Bad move. I lost around $800 because my package was left outside even though I gave delivery instructions. I followed TRR instructions, contacted them multiple times and nobody helped me. It’s been over a month now. Items labeled as menswear are frequently actually women’s sizes, and returns are difficult or impossible. It’s easier to consign a previous purchase than to report a fake, which likely just continues the proliferation of fake items on here. ### 1/5 — Terrible place to sell to *2026-08-13, version 3.71.0* I sent some items to them to sell on my behalf. They sold the bag for $116. I received 30% which was $34.80. I only received $4.80theu charged me 2 fees of $15 each because some of the other items I sent them weren’t to their liking. So they sent back my items. And then charged me $30. Giving me only $4.80. I’m extremely disappointed with how this was handled. Based on my experience, I would not recommend using The RealReal. ### 1/5 — Beware *2026-07-24, version 3.69.0* When using Apple Pay beware of price jumps! I had an item in my cart and went to purchase. I was using Apple Pay. It showed me a total price, it had my address and card and then said double click to pay. As soon as I double clicked, the price jumped! Luckily I was able to cancel it. I emailed them and was told it was taxes and shipping fees. I live in a state with no tax and if that was shipping it was ridiculous. The total price should have been clearly stated before I went to double click.
