## What is The Refuge?

Welcome to The Refuge - an impossible hotel where every room still belongs to one remarkable guest from history. Walk through the lives of visionaries such as Katherine Johnson, Viktor Frankl, Yoko Ono, Coco Chanel, Walter Russell, and many others by exploring the traces they left behind: letters, journals, photographs, forgotten conversations, and carefully preserved personal archives.

As investigative journalist Milka, you'll solve handcrafted word puzzles, decipher hidden documents, connect scattered clues, and gradually uncover the mystery surrounding the hotel's enigmatic owner, Elias Vale.

The Refuge is the first chapter of a larger story. While this game stands on its own, many of its answers open the door to even bigger questions still waiting beyond the final page.
