Worst update ever. ### 2/5 — I agree with recent reviews *2022-10-09, version 4.1.0* I concur with the most recent reviews. Listening to The Roar via APP has deteriorated from previous APP. The content and style updates meaningful but I believe the most important aspect of the APP is listening to the ROAR. AND doing that is frustrating due to ongoing outages and glitches. I’ll keep using but please improve connection reliability. Thank you. ### 2/5 — Not working out *2022-10-04, version 4.0.5* When listening to the live broadcast if it gets interrupted by a call or changing listening device I have too relaunch app. Then sometimes that doesn’t work. Sometimes after doing that it will start playing but after a few minutes it goes back to the beginning of the opening of the live broadcast advertisement. Very frustrating too say the least. P.S. and if I pause it from my watch and try and restart it, it won’t play ### 2/5 — Downgrade from the old app *2022-09-26, version 4.0.5* The new app has a lot of added functionality, but is significantly worse for anyone who wants to listen live. I am unable to resume streaming after making a call, using Siri, or changing the Bluetooth device that I’m using (eg going from car to airpod or other Bluetooth speaker). I have to force quit the app each time and relaunch it (and then am forced to listen to and watch the same ad over and over each time this happens). I have started to simply stream directly from the mobile webpage and am contemplating deleting the app altogether. It’s a shame because the old app was much more reliable and functional for listening to live radio. I hope they can update the new app to resolve these issues. ### 2/5 — Cheesy, Cheapy App *2022-05-21, version 2.6* There’s never an update to the app - the way you know it needs to be updated is that it stops working… when you open it the screen just stays black. Cheesy. Cheapy. The flagship of the Clemson Tigers should have a better, more reliable mobile app. ### 3/5 — Listen Live Issues *2024-01-15, version 4.4.9* Great shows but the only problem is the listen live feature often doesn't work. The add will play but then it just goes silent ### 3/5 — Too many commercials adss *2022-09-24, version 4.0.4* The Roar without a doubt has the best coverage of my clemson Tigers but anytime you have to pause the app while listening there too much lag so you have to close it and open it again which means you have to watch/listen to that stupid and way too long upstate fiber add. The roar much be a really expensive station to run because they run waaay too many commercials. I have about a 15 -20 min commute to work and quite often I hear nothing but commercials all the way to work. If not for these two things, would give 5 stars ### 3/5 — Really good shows and content.....mostly *2019-01-04, version 1.2* The only things I can find to disagree with on WCCP is too much outter fringes content. The morning shows have way too much golf talk that big things down sometimes. Then there is the new show after Walt with the “football filabuster”! They call it sports talk, but it has to be the worst content on the air! It’s embarrassing to think that travelers come through the state of SC and these morons are what they hear as a representative of SC! I have my finger on the button and as soon as Walt says talk to ya tomorrow I change the station as fast as possible! I really don’t have anything negative to say about WCCP except for that. And I can give some of the golf talk a break because I’m sure that all 3 of the people who care and are listening enjoy it! But for Gods sake please get the dorks off the air at 7PM! ### 4/5 — Love all the shows *2018-08-31, version 1.0* But when any of you start blathering on for more than a few minutes about the NBA or the NFL - that loud clicking noise you hear is me changing the channel.
