Much worse on iPad. The home page will just start scrolling itself without touching the screen. Are you just trying to wear us down so we subscribe to your LA rag. When you return to the app you have to start over on page 1. When I swipe to turn the page it will go back to the front page, then when I click to re-open it takes forever (or doesn’t) re-open. Also, some articles won’t open when clicked on. This is a recent problem. I’ll cancel my subscription if this isn’t fixed as it’s taking too long (or not possible) to click through the paper. ### 1/5 — Still no night mode *2026-07-03, version 10.0.59* I have been a digital describes for years and there was a night mode on the old app. When the new app came out I sent a message to request this feature back since I often work and night and it makes it easier on the eyes to read the news in night mode. Someone decided to tweak and mess with it and it no longer fits. None of you have noticed? Please fix it so I can read it vertically again and then leave it alone. If it ain’t broke don’t mess with it. I have to pinch and zoom to read and then again before I can turn the page. Come on now. Kudos *2025-05-30, version 10.0.37* I just downloaded the app on both my iPad and iPhone, and even though I usually wait a bit before writing a review, I couldn’t resist sharing my thoughts right away! I’m really impressed with how easy it is to save articles and navigate through the different sections. Everything, from the pictures to the text, is visually appealing and makes the experience enjoyable. I could not locate “Today in History”, the Comics, the political cartoons or Dear Abby. This type of shenanigan is the reason newsprint is dying. This will force to give serious consideration to renewing my subscription! I hope others feel the same way that I do. RIP S.D.
