## What is The Simpsons™?

THIS GAME IS LIFE-RUININGLY FUN!
From the writers of The Simpsons, comes the city building game that lets you create your own living, breathing Springfield! When Homer accidently causes a meltdown that wipes out Springfield, it’s up to you to clean up his mess… we mean, help him rebuild it!

Collect Your Favorite Characters
Help reunite Homer with his loved ones - Marge, Lisa, Maggie (and even sometimes Bart) – as well as his not so loved ones, like Ned Flanders. Re-populate Springfield with your favorite characters, from Barflies (Barney Gumble) to Wise Guys (Fat Tony). Add them all, we won’t judge! Dress your characters to the nines with options like Daredevil Bart or Lizard Queen Lisa, and relive scenes from your favorite episodes of The Simpsons!

Take Charge of Your Springfield
Can’t control your own life? Now you can control the lives of the citizens of Springfield instead! Make Apu work ridiculously long shifts at the Kwik-E-Mart, have Moe smuggle illegal animals, or make Homer toil poolside all day… that last one might not be so bad.

Build Your Own Springfield
Think Homer deserves to live next door to Moe’s? Or the monorail can survive a few more sharp twists and turns? Or 40% fewer health inspectors? Well you can finally make Springfield just the way you want it! Expand your town to the Waterfront, grow its businesses with the glamourous shops of Springfield Heights, and enjoy its sights, all with only a few taps.

Experience Unique Simpsons Stories
Catch exclusive animated scenes and new hilarious stories from the writers of The Simpsons. You know they’re good because they write for The Simpsons! Tapped Out is the most life-ruiningly fun Simpsons game you can play!

Always Something New for Your Favorite Town
Springfield might perpetually be on the verge of destruction, buy hey, at least it’s never boring. Whether it’s Halloween monster invasions, superheroes run amok, or chaos caused by one of Homer’s “great” ideas, you’ve got never-ending options to tap!

### 5/5 — Thank you.

*2024-09-29*

After receiving this last update, all I have to say is thank you. As someone who has literally been playing for 10 years+, this game has become such a staple in my life. I have thoroughly enjoyed playing this game over the years as much as I have. I do not write reviews ever, but I feel obligated to write to the game developers here in this review. I may have not played every single day, but regardless, I enjoyed playing it on all of the days that I did. This game quite literally grew with me (being that I was 7 when I initially started playing) and I am more than saddened to see the game officially go. I never thought I would see the day would come when this game would end, but I am more than happy to realize that I played during this game's glory days and all the way until the end. I cannot express just how amazing and awesome this game was, from all of the quests to the characters and gameplay to just being as creative as possible with creating my own town of Springfield. This game is one of very, very few games that actually deserves the 5 stars, and I am just incredibly saddened to see that the game is shutting down. I wish the game did not have to be shut down, but nonetheless, it is a cherished childhood memory that I will reminisce over in my adulthood. So, game developers, thank you for this amazing game and experience. Thank you.

### 5/5 — Why are you leaving?

*2024-09-28*

For years this game has been my favorite and only mobile game I play and I know it’s not the most popular or even one that compares to most of these mobile games but I personally love the Simpsons show and hearing that this game, which mind you has majority of characters from the show in the game that you can unlock or even purchase if you wanted and even have some of the most memorable buildings and landmarks from the show! I’ve just never had a game get me so attached and not even because it’s the Simpsons but just cause there was always something new to do and you don’t have to go against anyone or worry about anything being destroyed in your town and the updates were always fun and cool as well as just being a game that would make you feel like you have something to look forward to when waiting for your Simpsons to finish their jobs. But hopefully one day we’ll get a chance to see a new and improved version of the game or just even have it come back as the normal old game it has always been.

### 5/5 — My goodbye too this game

*2024-09-28*

I have been playing this game ever since I was introduced to it by my nanny at age 8 since then I’ve played it on and off through elementary school middle school Covid and now in my graduating senior year there are ending the legacy saying I’m sad would be an understatement but at the same time I understand all good things must come to an end having something to look forward too every day during school really helped me get through the day on multiple occasions the Simpson was a show that has been with me longer then the game itself so I feel like I really can connect with the characters in the game their personality’s are each so vivid and distinct I wish I could shake the writers hand myself I truly just want to thank everyone involved in this game and everyone who has enjoyed this game with me I had a lot of fun reading through the Reddit and reviews of the game becouse I didint realize how many other people are still playing this game with me and the effect this game has had on them aswell I do hope there will be some way for me to continue playing this game but if there isn’t I will cherish the memory off it for the rest of my life thank you

### 3/5 — Much like the show it used to be really good.

*2024-07-04*

I got this game when it first came out and it was great. The game had fun stories for the characters and crazy outfits with their own stories and jobs, but now it’s just a cash grab. Yes, it always had premium content, but you could play quite easily without forking out tons of money. You get all these dollars with nothing buy except maybe some trees and a few original homes, everything is premium currency. The game has regular updates with new content, but to complete all the added characters, you have to buy doughnuts (premium currency). And much like the show, it’s slowly going liberal. They have historically important presidents for 4th of July, but their stories are how terrible they are. Things are added and abandon like Krusty Land and visiting friends for rewards. Instead of new outfits for your characters now you have to unlock who new versions of the characters which makes clearing your whole town of jobs, which is the only way to get doughnuts without buying them, takes ages. They did add an item so you don’t have to click every building which is great. Go back to the old way and leave your politics out of it.

### 1/5 — Perpetual loading screen

*2024-06-12*

I used to love playing but now it unbearable, I have to delete and redownload the app multiple times in a day just to play. And if I don’t it’ll never stop loading. I know this is a problem for many others so it would be great if it would be fixed.

### 4/5 — !!!!!Devs Read This Please!!!!!!

*2024-05-20*

I really love this game but there are two concerns I have. I have been playing for about 6 years and I keep coming back. However the first thing of my concern is the fact that I have to “download an update “ every time I open the app. It doesn’t matter if it was only a few minutes between gameplay, when I come back to the game it makes me sit through an update download and I’m sure it’s the same update everything because it has the same sizes. Although it doesn’t take too long (maybe about 5 minutes) it’s kind of a big inconvenience when I just closed the app 2 minutes ago. Also my second thing of concern is the fact that I’m not able to remove old tasks from my task book. For instance the seasonal task where you have to collect X amount of objects. I have no interest in completing these tasks, especially some that has been there for years and it just clutters up my task book and makes it hard to find current projects. These are two things I hope to see fixed pretty soon, but I don’t want my concerns to undermine the love I have for the game! It is so fun with a perfect storyline. Thanks for listening to my TedTalk

### 4/5 — Infinite loading screen

*2024-05-04*

Hi, I want to ask if there is an update or some sort of advice I can be given, I can’t login into save my game and it won’t go further than the loading screen. I have a lv29 world with no friends and it won’t let me login to it. I tried connecting my account to EA games so my progress wouldn’t be lost but something happened. My game refused to let me go in my world or even access it. (I also won’t to note i did not connect my account to EA until later on so it’s possible it may have lost my progress or deleted it but anyways) when I got my account ready and registered it made things worse much worse, I tried turn off my device, resetting my device, redownloading and reinstalled again but I could only access it by deleting the app and redownloading it. (I don’t like having to it every time to access my world cause it takes like ten minutes and then I can’t access it again.) But I don’t want to give up on this game I really want to continue but I just can’t, “like literally I can’t the game won’t let me. So if any admins are reading this please help me and thank you for listening if you did”

### 4/5 — Developers Read this please!

I have been a big fan of this game for years . I have seen constant improvements over the years that just makes it better and better . People love this game because they love the creative nature within them being brought to life . There is only one problem I seen with this game however tho and it’s been a big problem for so many I have communicated with about it over the years . The Item limit needs to be adjusted way more then what it is at . You have to understand. We are building a whole town and the item limit needs to be doubled to at least what it’s at. People love to get creative . People love to really invest time and energy into this game . The item limit has stopped a lot of people from playing and just giving up . I believe if you actually doubled the limit and updated your game to withstand it without crashing more players will be rocking this game and more invested then even now . Not just adjusting it by a thousand or two. Actually doubling it from what it’s currently at so people will never have to worry about running out of space . So people don’t have to worry about destroying their builds that took hours and energy to master . I have noticed building games like Minecraft is so popular because the game makes you feel like you can be great creators and that’s why creative people flock to it . I hope you take into consideration what I have said .I am just one person but I know I speak for so many . Thank you for your time .

### 1/5 — boring and takes too long or too much $

*2023-09-07*

so tired of all these games costing real money to be enjoyable and actually able to get stuff. so tired of the in app updates every day that take forever to download but you have to stay on the screen or it errors out. it’s been two months and not a single update from the app store but i’ve had to wait on the loading screen updates at least 6 or more times. this really could be the best game ever but it’s just too dang expensive to even want to keep it. also missions and tasks taking hours and hours and hours is kinda ridiculous. a couple hours yea fine but 4+ hours for nearly every mission that actually results in money or donuts makes everything agonizingly slow and boring. i wind up opening it once every once in a while to just do the next set of tasks and then once that’s done there’s absolutely nothing else left to do for the next 12 hours. could be a good game but like all this ruins it. Also I’m so so dang sick of opening the game and every single day for a week straight, multiple times a day, it has to update and it takes upwards of 45 minutes to simply update so I can play it. I’m probably deleting this game, I absolutely love the simpsons and am borderline obsessed with them but the problems are just too many and too often to deal with the crap anymore

### 1/5 — EA is a joke

*2023-08-21*

I am writing this review to let everyone know that I have played this game for years ever since it came out. I have put a lot of money and time into it and I was at max level and I had gotten everything that came out. Then EA decided to integrate the “new” login process, and I was kicked out and my account was deleted due to inactivity. I have tried to get a hold of EA customer service support and they just keep giving me the run around. They never helped with my issue of trying to login, even after multiple times I have tried telling them that I don’t have access to that old email anymore. They just pushed me off like I was trash and the person I spoke with in the chat box was from India and didn’t care about my problem. Mostly due to they have a script that they go by over there just to get our money. EA you need to seriously deal with this huge on going problem and start treating your customers/players with more respect and loyalty. Cause if this keeps happening then you won’t have anyone playing any of your games. And then your out of business due lack of people playing your games. Please rectify this huge issue and start fixing the problems on your platform, team, servers, personal, customer service and everything else. I have to admit you guys are a good company but there are a lot of issues that need to be addressed.

With the future saved, it looks like Springfield can finally settle down for a nice, relaxing fall. Right. We're totally fine. Really looking forward to a nice, relaxing fall.

Bart and Lisa need Junior Camper merit badges and make Homer take them camping, but when they arrive at Homer's childhood campground, they find it overrun by feuding LARPers! Will the Simpsons help bring peace or make things worse? (That's a rhetorical question, obviously.) Who even knew that Canadian Football and Pilgrim LARPing were things?

### 4.68.0 — 2024-06-04

It's summertime and the living ain't so easy for the Simpsons. Lisa sends them into the desert on a wild chameleon chase but, when Homer suddenly gets obsessed with a new and different kind of donut, they find themselves searching for a reliable cell phone signal and a tow truck. This seemingly never-ending quest brings them face to face with strange sculptures, burning giants, and oddly familiar cactus people. And the key to it all? Ned Flanders' recliner. Naturally.
