## What is The Social Community?

Social Community is the app for people who live close together: communal dining, groups, calendar, booking, files and a message board in one place.

COMMUNAL DINING
See upcoming dinners, sign up your household with one tap and bring guests. If you have allergies or a special diet, enter it once and the cook sees it automatically at every dinner. Away for a while? Set an absence period so you are not counted.

As the cook, you see who is coming, how many adults and children, and what to take into account. Log expenses with a photo of the receipt, and the app works out each household's share. The balance shows what your household has paid and owes, dinner by dinner.

GROUPS
The garden group, the board, the families with children or the party committee: each group has its own posts, events and folders. You see what concerns you, and a closed group is for its members only.

CALENDAR AND EVENTS
Dinners and events share one calendar. Sign up for the work day or the summer party, and see who else is coming.

BOOKING
Book the common house, the guest room or the trailer. Pick a day and a time and see at once whether it is free – two people cannot book the same thing at the same time.

FILES
Minutes, bylaws and house rules live in shared folders, so you can find them on your phone.

MESSAGE BOARD AND NEIGHBOUR LIST
On the board you share news, photos and questions: who needs a cook, who has a box of apples to spare. The neighbour list shows who lives where, and you decide what you share.

You get a notification when a new dinner is added, when sign-up closes, and when a dinner has been settled.

The app is in Danish. It requires that your community uses The Social Community and that your administrator has invited you. No accounts are created in the app and there is no password to remember: you sign in with a code sent to your e-mail.
