No ability to use Apple Pay, have to enter credit card information manually each time. What is this, 2015? Old version worked better had better UI this version is a disaster. Prolly gonna go to CostCutters or Hair Cuttery now.

I’ve been a customer of The Spot for a while and have been managing most of my appointments through their app. Today, when I tried to schedule an appointment, I noticed there was a new update. Unfortunately, the update is not working well. My preferred location is no longer showing, and the app doesn’t display the staff schedule by location, which is very important because sometimes I choose a different staff member based on availability.

The app also deleted my saved card information and didn’t allow me to use the quick payment option. I had to enter all my card details manually, and after completing the information three times, it still didn’t save, so I couldn’t complete the reservation.

I ended up having to call the branch to book my appointment. I also heard other customers experiencing the same issue. In my opinion, the new update is not ready yet.

The service itself is still very good—this complaint is only about the app.

The new app is so complicated to navigate, crashes when I try to pay and book an appointment and even charge an unknown amount without a confirmation of any purchase sent to email or message to my phone.

They updated it in 2026 and the app is now complete garbage. The UI is horrible the app itself is clunky and the design choices are atrocious. They might as well have used AI as it would’ve been better.

The new app is hot garbage - slow ui, crashes all the time. The new membership structure is also useless - 60$ to have a “discount” on the huge increase in prices? What a joke.

My barber moved so it’s that worst time ever again where you have to find a new barber. There used to be this feature where you could see the social media of the barbers who had ones, and it helped find my old barber. For some reason none of the barbers on the app have a social media anymore so you can’t see there work and that sucks…
