Wedges alone is worth it to get the radar. Makes wedge practice more fun and interesting. As I said, worth it by itself with the radar. I’m not a big hitter, and I actually use irons off the tee, but the Stack Speed is still helpful. (One of these summers the Driver is coming out 😀). My one complaint is that sometimes have trouble getting accurate readings hitting into the net in my garage. This is a problem with all radar based systems. Originally, I had issues getting the APP to work with MLM Pro. I spoke several times with Customer Service - “Thomas”. He sent me a video after working with me through the loading problems I was having. The video did help and now I am enjoying the system. It did gear a plan based upon my progression. I would make one recommendation..for beginners and new users…- Give a written instruction document upon opening the box, such as: “Start here first”, with a decision matrix. Not all people are visual and reading a quick 1, 2, 3… would have saved me a bit of frustration. Thomas, thanks for your help and following up to make sure all was working properly! I’ve followed all steps in the faqs, reinstalled the app,and made sure everything is up to date but nothing has resolved the problem. What’s most frustrating is that I’ve reached out to support multiple times and haven’t received any response. At this point I’m not getting what I paid for and the lack of communication is disappointing. ### 1/5 — Must buy stack radar for full capabilities *2025-03-05, version 1.27.1* I bought the stack a little over a year ago. 2 weeks after they come out with a new radar after when I bought it they recommended the PRGR. Asked if they would give a deal on the new radar or trade in, but the deal they gave was very low so I didn’t do it. Not a big deal, because I can just voice record for speed, and the only upgrade was the Bluetooth connectivity. A year later they come out with a wedge app. Problem there is they force you to buy the new radar otherwise that portion of the app won’t even open up. You cannot even use that portion of the app with better simulators such as a trackman or GC quad basically upselling their own version of the PRGR with “Bluetooth connectivity” Saw good gains over the first month and a half then was pretty much maxed out for speed. I was going to cancel, but then they hyped up the wedge app on my new Garmin R50, only to be let down and forced to buy another inferior monitor. It’s a shame because the do have good user interface and data, but the scam to get you to use their inferior launch monitor system is the downfall. ### 2/5 — No change *2026-04-12, version 1.29* I have used the system for about a year now, with a few exceptions due to injuries. I did lower my handicap last year to under 3, but that was not because of the Stack. Over the year I experienced 0 speed gains. Not one mile per hour better and at times my swing was worse. Easy to use and app is fine but for me , no gains whatsoever. ### 2/5 — When it works it is good *2025-12-27, version 1.28.4* In principle the training program seems good. Unfortunately it does not reliably connect to stack Radar. The app won’t reliably start set 1 during a session and data need to be manually added. User interface is poor So fix the connectivity and reliability issues and this could be a 4 or 5 ### 2/5 — APP Stinks *2025-03-29* I keep on making comments and asking for help. Dont seem to be able to get any one that wants to help when I am available. Someone needs to make a time to call…JUST DONT CALL WHEN I AM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE GOLF COURSE. I SAID I WOULD BE AVAILABLE IN THE MORNING, NOT 2 PM! Having the same issue whereby the app does not work with MLM Pro. I must enter numbers from memory! Takes over an hour and have to keep on restarting MLM cause it times out. I need some help please or else I want my money back. If the system does not work with MLM then why are you touting it and cost me $700 for MLM? ### 2/5 — App Review, not program review *2025-03-26, version 1.27.1* The stack program has yielded incredible results even 3-weeks in. However, the app is frustrating from a user experience standpoint. The most annoying thus far is that the reminder system is unintuitive to find and has stopped working altogether. Rather than relying on the reminders app, it should give the option to add the next workout as a .ics calendar appointment. This option should also be listed on the landing page and not hidden in the “preview workout” modal. Currently, when I try to create the reminder it keeps telling me a reminder already exists but I’ve only created two thus far. The next frustrating component is the lack of accessibility to the instructional videos. I as a user want to put on music and read the instructions of what moves to do in the warmup so I can reference them in the future as well as the instructions for the swing types. What is also missing is a rough estimate of date of completion. I know that is dependent on when classes are taken but giving a best and worst case of dates gives more of a target. One big quality of life suggestion, though. I’d love to not have to manually create a scorecard every time I play a new golf course. I feel like I should be able to search for a course and select the tee box from there, just like you do in every other app. If I were a city golfer playing a different course every week, I’d get annoyed with the tediousness pretty fast. ### 5/5 — If you are a golfer, you need this equipment and app! *2026-06-21, version 1.31.1* I’ve gained 13 mph, and 36 yards of distance. I reached out about a possibility of a “hold” on my subscription and they immediately added an additional 6 months and wished me well on my recovery. So many other operations would just ignore me or say sorry can’t do anything about it but not TheStack.
