I have never seen a newspaper where a full page ad overrides an important front page news. Just goes to show why it's free...very standard indeed. Deleted the app...

What happened? For the past week this app has just stopped working. The daily edition downloads but fails to open. Wonder if iSO6 is the problem?

Since upgrading to iOS 6.0 this no longer works properly.  Issues rarely download and when they do I can't open them to read.  Please fix ASAP!!!!

why is it so slow now? before the update on Jan 19th the app was of moderate but bearable speed, now it takes around 5 seconds to load 1%!  thats almost 10 minutes to load an entire issue!

Why the app has to download 6 issues, users have no choice to stop it.  At least we can set it up on setting but no such option.  It is not only waste bandwidth but also user's time.  I want to read the news for today not for yesterday as I have already read it.  It does not make sense.  Poorly design apps.

This is way better than SCMP, which takes hours to download a single issue and only shows free contents even when I'm a subscriber.

The Standard jumps off the page in this app which keeps colours vibrant and the page transitions smooth. Only problem is when you zoom in to read an article, the pictures detach themselves from the text. Would be good if tht could be sorted out.

Newsstand support is needed.

Zooming in is limited...I frequently want to zoom in more...especially to read text in photos.

It would be nice to follow a story from the cover to an inside page with hot links instead of paging manually to page 18.

This app when active will over-ride the auto shut off of ipad....i.e. the ipad will stay on forever until the battery runs out!!
