It says, 1 hour 10 mins on screen, 14 h 8 m background!!!!!! By the way, i already turned off the background app refresh feature on my iphone. but wow. and i can’t even do anything about this as there isn’t a data saver mode or sort. first, Star asked us to create an account and sign in to get full access. after readers complied, they strategically start asking for subscription fees. it’s alright. in fact i was ready to pay to show support to malaysia journalists. however, Star. YOU REALLY NEED TO UPGRADE YOUR APP FOR PRESERVING THE PHONE BATTERY. 14 hours background activity versus one hour on screen is just ridiculous. ### 1/5 — STOP👏🏻FORCING👏🏻USER👏🏻TO👏🏻UPDATE *2020-03-15* Please stop from forcing user to update. Every update has made the experience gone downhill. And now with the latest update you’re forcing user to “subscribe” while still injecting ads into your app. This is ridiculous. And by the way, the so called “Breaking News” alert is super annoying, it alerts news that’s not even breaking at all! ### 1/5 — Useless App *2020-02-24* App continuously asks for you to enter username and password. If I try to use same username that I use for e-newspaper, it says account is already in use. If I try to sign in, using this account, it says username/password is incorrect.
