My rating is due to the change of puzzles, most likely a cost cutting measure.I can’t see how we could be talking about a significant amount of money, as such this may cause subscribers to quit, as I plan to do in the near future. I like having a daily newspaper so I maintain a subscription but the star-phoenix is truly awful.  Not to be too harsh, but it can only be a matter of time till this paper is out of business. Best of luck.  You’re going to need it.

We have been subscribers for over 45 years. The SP is getting worse and worse. The reporters now seem to think that anyone who complains deserves a column, without even getting the other side of the story. These one-sided stories are getting out of hand. The slant of almost any article is how the person is wronged, and that someone else is responsible and should fix it. Quite disappointing. There seems to be little research into finding out the facts before publishing these types of stories
