Tried on several devices. Called for help from The Star Phoenix and after hours of uninstalling and reinstalling we still can't log in. It stops downloading the current paper unless I pay for it again even though I have a paid subscription. I have been an epaper subscriber for several years and now find it won’t work on my new Iphone 11. After 3 calls for support their only suggestion was to delete and reinstall the app. That didn’t work so they referred me to Apple. They also failed to call me back as promised. I called Apple support and was told that the app developer is responsible to fix the problem. No point having a subscription if it won’t work and they can’t offer support. They want you to enter a nickname for your review. Disappointed, very disappointed, frustrated and no support already taken. What does that tell you? My problem is that since an update to the app sometime ago (maybe a year), it takes multiple attempts to download the paper before I can read it. Rarely is it automatically downloaded as I have selected. Yesterday was particularly frustrating as 4 times it got to 99% before failing and having to start over. Today it is doing the same thing. It can fail anytime during the download but 99% is particularly frustrating. Please fix this problem. ### 3/5 — Gone downhill *2020-09-15* I have used the digital version to print the crossword puzzle. Recently the crossword has been reformatted in such a way that it is not easily printed as a print screen. Very biased news! ### 2/5 — Star Phoenix review *2021-04-15* We have been subscribers for over 45 years. The SP is getting worse and worse. The reporters now seem to think that anyone who complains deserves a column, without even getting the other side of the story. These one-sided stories are getting out of hand. The slant of almost any article is how the person is wronged, and that someone else is responsible and should fix it. Quite disappointing.
