## What is The Stevedoring App?

The Stevedoring App helps port and terminal teams capture and track shipping consignments for RORO, Break Bulk and Container Operations. The app doesn't need an internet connection while you work and it allows identification by camera and keyboard.Use QR Codes, Bar Codes and written text on items to identify your cargo against multiple strings. Use the engine number on one car and the production number on another. Tag parking bays, staff and multiple handlers all offline. The in app incident report like the tally geo locates you when you report an incident. You can even use the mic to record a voicenote.  The Stevedoring App has in depth functionality for managing operations, planning, staffing and tally. The app gives you real time feedback from in field teams working port side or on vessels without internet connectivity. The always on approach extends to the yard where team members can give direct feedback report incidents and tally cargo and personnel in real time. The app works with a dashboard available at https://app.stevedoring.app enabling your entire back office to have visibility, contribute and draw reports from your operations. 

The app is integrated with SAP, Sage, PaySpace and MySQL to allow you to use your existing systems with a specialized edge. The Stevedoring App is flexible enough to fit your team and sophisticated enough to cover all your operational requirements.

### 2.2.11 — 2026-08-09

This update brings the full set of improvements since the previous App Store release.

- Vehicle scanning is faster and counts each unit exactly once. A duplicate scan now resumes the open workflow instead of stalling it.
- The Result screen is the hub after each scan: it shows the last scanned vehicle, keeps completed steps and their captured data visible, and launches each step on your command, including camera capture.
- Operations are now selected explicitly, so the app never guesses which operation a scan belongs to.
- Clearer offline work: network-bound actions always return control with an honest offline state instead of hanging, and sync reports the server's actual reason when a record is refused.
- Faster sync, fewer redundant writes, and lower battery use during long operations.
- Organisation registration and subscription management have moved to the web at www.stevedoring.app.
- Clearer photo and video permission information for incident reports, condition inspections, and profile photos.

This release focuses on Deck Tally and overall stability:

- Reinstates Deck Tally planning and Deck Tally execution routes.
- Keeps Virtual Yard hidden while its source data remains paused.
- Adds mobile notifications, account deletion, incident sync, reporting, audit, and local cache hardening.
- Captures crashes to incidents for faster diagnosis.
- Improves startup stability by moving animated login media off the startup hot path and deferring messaging setup until after first render.
