## What is The Strait?

Move oil. Make money. Don’t crash the world.

The Strait is a fast oil tycoon arcade game where every tanker crossing is a gamble. Start with borrowed cash, launch tankers through a dangerous strait, defend them under fire, and bank the profit before one bad run wipes you out.

Bigger cargo means bigger money, but also bigger danger. Choose safer single tankers or risk larger convoys. Use missiles, armed escorts, chopper support, and The Dome to keep your cargo moving when the strait turns hostile.

Oil prices shift. World supply rises and falls. Debt comes due. Markets surge and crash. A clean crossing can grow your empire, while grey cargo, fines, damage, and bad timing can send your operating cash deep into the red.

Bank your profits, buy assets, and build total net worth through gold, bonds, stocks, property, yachts, jets, and private deals. Then decide when to retire rich, or keep pushing for one more high-risk payout.

Play two ways:
- Empire Mode: Build wealth for as long as you can, then retire before the strait takes it back.
- 15-Minute Sprint: Race the clock and build the highest net worth before time runs out.

Game Center leaderboards rank one thing: total net worth.
