## What is The Stranger?

“The Stranger” offers unlimited scenarios: A playing card is chosen, a word is thought of from a Book Test, the numbers from someone’s address are named, an envelope is freely selected, or the name of someone’s loved one is offered…and then, a random stranger is called. The audience has a conversation with the stranger and the stranger reveals the information. 

This is an impossible moment. It leaves the audience with a feeling they cannot explain and they erupt in applause! Not out of a desire to be kind, rather as an uncontrollable, visceral reaction. And it happens every time.

With this purchase, you can have a playing card—any card, using no force of any kind—revealed by a stranger. Other effects can be unlocked to allow a number or a word revealed, read an NFC tag, or to simply allow the audience member to speak and have key details revealed by the stranger on the other end of the call without the performer saying a word.

I love The Stranger App! Jonathan has created a fantastic app that makes performing a miracle easy to do! This can be a live phone call or with a pre-recorded conversation with a “Stranger” naming an audience member’s selected or named card. The added convincers make this impossible effect believable in the eyes of your spectators. Jonathan is constantly improving the app with regular updates. I have had this from the beginning and have seen it evolve into a fantastic way to blow your audience’s minds! 
Jonathan has added so many incredible features since he first put The Stanger out. 
The Pro Version takes this to the next level and beyond!
In addition to all that, Jonathan Levit’s customer service and dedication to this app is incredible! (The best in the business)

The Stranger is by far my favorite effect to perform either in casual situations or for paid gigs and the reason is simple, I’m sure to get each time a standing ovation! What I also like are all these different ways to present it, just my phone using a recording for those totally impromptu occasions, right on the spot, or by using a live stranger via FaceTime for more interaction with my audience. We’re also not limited to a card reveal, it could be a word, a time, a birthday or a combination of those,  even a drawing duplication using some extra props. I should also mention the integration with several famous magic apps. Another thing that I absolutely love is the community of strangers ready to help each other and the top notch customer service provided by Jonathan Levit. Bottom line, you can’t go wrong with the Stranger. I barely never write reviews but The Stranger definitely worth it.
