There are so many effects that you can do. This app seamlessly interacts with other apps making it look like you can do real miracles. As for customer support, there is none better than this creator. When I was having a problem he personally called me and talked me through it. He answers every question personally, quickly and effectively. This app is consistently being updated showing how the creator cares for his creation. I wish all apps were this good and had this kind of support. This is a utility that puts that plot on steroids. Well thought out and consistently evolving with new ideas, Jonathan Levit has created some thing that every magician who has a cell phone, should have. Once you go through the tutorial and with a little practice (brush up on your acting skills), you’re good to go. And you become a member of the Stranger Community in which your fellow magicians are more than willing to help you in your performance and you in theirs. The truth is that it IS the greatest magic App produced. It is head and shoulders above any other app and could not be easier to perform. As ever, the methodology is 10% and creating the theatre is 90%. I am not a professional magician but, trust me, I know a lot of them and they all agree with me on this app. It is only fair that I make clear that there are some other wonderful apps that get 9 out of 10 (are use them often) This app however gets 20/10! The difference, if I can put it into soccer parlance, is that there are Great footballers, fantastic footballers, amazing footballers. And then there is the category of the “out of this world“ footballers such as Messi and Ronaldo.The gap between Messi and Ronaldo and the amazing footballers is far greater than the gap between great and amazing. Don’t worry about the cost… It’s worth every cent. More over, you don’t have to pay a penny for seven days and if you don’t like it it has cost you nothing. This is now a staple in my magic show I do it every show. One of the most amazing things is how Jonathan ever since this app was created as constantly updated and improved it to the point now where there is nothing anywhere in the world as good as this. Developer support is quick and professional. The effect allows you to have a stranger identify which card your audience [freely] selected... and it excels at this. Unfortunately, using someone from your contact list [rather than ‘the stranger’] is an in-app purchase and monthly subscription for the same effect. Clarified: A friend can be called without the “in-app purchase”, however the effect is then one you can do without needing the Stranger app at all (hence the missing stars). **Developer response:** Thank you for this comment. I have strived to be accurate in the marketing for The Stranger. The app allows the entire performance to take place, as seen, without the need for a subscription. For the audience, regardless of the presentation, using the subscription, or not using the subscription, the effect will be the same. Thank you! ### 3/5 — UGGGhhHhh *2021-01-05, version 3.03* Well, it was good from the start, but then after a while it got weird. I just came back to the app today and I clicked on it. I was about to perform to my friend on a zoom meeting. But then guess what? When I tried to set up the playing card revelation, it said to purchase the card revelation. IT WAS SO FRUSTRATING! So I deleted it then reinstalled it, and I tried to sign back in. But it didn’t let me! It said my email had already been used blah blah blah. So this app is good for the revelations and the reactions, but having to purchase the only one that was once free? Even after deleting the application and my affected contacts then re-entering them, it’s still is screwed up. It is one of the best apps made for magic ever Jonathan is the best when it comes to giving support is is amazing! ### 5/5 — The Stranger…a true reputation maker!! *2022-12-20* The Stranger is by far my favorite effect to perform either in casual situations or for paid gigs and the reason is simple, I’m sure to get each time a standing ovation! What I also like are all these different ways to present it, just my phone using a recording for those totally impromptu occasions, right on the spot, or by using a live stranger via FaceTime for more interaction with my audience. We’re also not limited to a card reveal, it could be a word, a time, a birthday or a combination of those, even a drawing duplication using some extra props. I should also mention the integration with several famous magic apps. Another thing that I absolutely love is the community of strangers ready to help each other and the top notch customer service provided by Jonathan Levit. Bottom line, you can’t go wrong with the Stranger.
