I would love to just receive 1 at the beginning of the day if the mountain is open or not. And this app cuts the mustard better than most. Links are buried in a bunch of menus and have no idea which parking lot is full without referencing another link to a map, have to learn all the lift names to see what’s open instead of just showing visual trail map with open/close indicators and where it is so don’t have to memorize every lift name. The app just seems to be framing in web content anyways and the cams load much slower or not at all. If you’re going to make an app why not make a proper app that is an improvement over the web experience?! We appreciate your feedback and hope you continue having amazing ski days! ⛷️❄️ ### 5/5 — Love the app; have some ideas for improvement *2025-03-21* The app allows you to easily find time sensitive info like which resort areas and lifts are open, their hours that day, etc. You can even set it up to push notifications to your phone, which is very handy for things that change moment to moment, like parking availability. My top 2 suggestions for improvement: 1) the “Announcement” AKA the handwritten description of mountain conditions that day, is one of the most important things to know IMO, and it is hidden several clicks deep in the app. Additionally, the text formatting appears to be messed up, compared to the same report on the website. 2) The notifications tab (with the bell) contains very helpful updates like “Alpental lot is now full”, which is great, BUT these updates don’t have timestamps, so if you happen to see them, say 2 hours after they are posted, you have no way of knowing how relevant they still are. With this app, i get updates on what lifts and runs are open! I also have access to trail maps and the ski patrol phone number which is very helpful.
