The App does not let you place orders, neither does their website. Can’t do it when you call either. Door dash app doesn’t allow you to make alterations (no onions etc). Basically you need to go in person to get what you want, which steers away many customers.

I called to place a pick up because I didn’t want to wait the loong line. I was prompted to download the app or go online, both which were inconvenient because the in the app it says that online ordering is not available (for La Jolla), and the website it makes it very complicated and still doesn’t allow you to order online. What a waste of my time.

App is trash, website is trash. Would have eaten here many times if it weren’t for these obstacles. Is it that hard for them to take phone orders like literally EVERY other restaurant in the entire world?

Don’t understand why you need to make things more inconvenient for your customers. Grubhub worked just fine. What a lame move to remove the taco menu from Grubhub to force us to use this horrendous app. Can’t even use apple pay with it. Makes me second guess if I want to place an order.

Called to place a order for pick up at the DT SD location but was told they now only accept take out orders via their website or mobile app- that’s cool so I downloaded the app. 

Let me make it known- I absolutely love their food it’s the best around! However, when I was putting my order together the app was really janky (for lack of better words). When I needed to edit my order and hit the “back” button it took me back to the home page and lost my entire order and had to start over. Also I wanted flour tortillas instead of corn but no place to change that which I could via phone order. Then when I got my order finalized and went to check out it got a pop up stating “eatkey.com doesn’t accept orders until 10/31/18” ???? No idea what that means but I couldn’t proceed so it did the opposite of what it is meant to do..place an order. 

They took minimal effort designing and developing their app..not user friendly..@needs a lot of work.

This app is torturous!!
It makes you type in what kind of tortilla you want since there isn’t a choice 
Then after all that when it brings you to pay you can’t even tell if they saved all the typing.
Might be ok for 1 or 2 tacos but for a group... ridiculous!!!
Isn’t that pretty basic with a taco place... choice of tortilla??!!
Took forever to order... so lame.... needs fixing

I simply downloaded the App and placed my order. No problems. ( However, not every location offers ordering by App)  My location in North Park did.  

The Taco Stand even made removing a food items toppings extremely simple for the picky people.  I’m not sure what the other reviews are talking about. Maybe they are a competitor? 

My food was ready and waiting when I arrived. I appreciated not having to wait in a long line. 

The carne asada tacos are my absolute favorite.

Food is great, and it is amazing not having to wait in the always way too long of a line at the store. Don’t let the “issues” (never had any of the issues that other reviewers are saying) get in the way of ordering some AMAZING Mexican food. Also, get the churros; you’re welcome. My favorites from the Taco Stand are the steak & egg breakfast burrito (I get cravings for this a lot), care asada taco, and shrimp taco. Bon appétit!

If you have an issue with this app, you’re lazy. It works just as it needs to, way better than the old days of calling your order in and being on hold for 20 minutes, and it being too loud in the restaurant for them to hear your order. 

I repeat, if you have an issue with this app because you prefer grub hub or whatever then you’re just lazy. 

I’m sure grub hub takes a percentage of the sales which is why taco stand made their own app, it’s called evolving. Give some useful feedback if you don’t like the app.
