## What is The Tartan?

Every good tournament runs on order: a clean field, a fair format, a leaderboard the whole field trusts. The Tartan holds it together — from the first group off the tee to the last card signed — whether you're running a weekend match or a multi-round event.

Play moves, and the app keeps pace. Scores are posted hole by hole, the leaderboard settles the moment each one lands, and players follow the standings in real time — on the course or in the clubhouse. No loose scorecards. No guessing at the turn. No reconciling figures after the round. Only the golf.

THE TOURNAMENT ROUND, ELEVATED

• Live scoring that posts to the leaderboard the instant a hole is entered
• Standings the whole field can follow in real time, from anywhere on the course
• Groups, pairings, and tee times organized so the day runs on schedule
• Notifications for tee times and leaderboard changes, so no one misses a moment
• Friendly games and side competitions tracked alongside the main event
• Clear, simple settle-up once the final card is in

BUILT FOR THE WAY YOU PLAY

Set up a tournament in minutes — build the field, set the format, and let The Tartan carry the round. One match or a full season of events, the experience holds: organized, accurate, and quietly out of your way so the focus stays on the golf.

A round well run is a better round. The Tartan is built to give you that, every time out.

Settling up now taps you on the shoulder. When someone records paying you, you're told — confirm or dispute it right from the notification. Confirmations, disputes, and the organizer's rulings reach everyone whose money moved.

Built for dead zones. Your scorecard survives losing signal: the card stays on screen, scores you enter are saved and sync the moment bars return, and opening the app with no service no longer signs you out.

A clearer settle-up screen. Pending settlements are grouped by who's holding things up — awaiting you, awaiting them — instead of a bare "pending."

For organizers: a "Get this event running" checklist walks setup in order — roster, programme, tee sheet, pools — with the tee sheet no longer buried in schedule settings. The roster now tells "not invited yet" apart from "waiting on an answer." Removing a group with players in it asks first.

### 1.5.0 — 2026-08-17

Scoring without signal
Scores you enter out of range are saved on your phone and sent the moment
you're back in coverage — round cards, bracket matches and Ryder Cup holes
alike. Your card won't let you sign until every hole has landed.

Open any transaction on The Sheet
Tap a line to see the whole story: who owes whom, who entered it, when it
was confirmed, and whether an organizer amended it afterwards.

Money you can read at a glance
One row per person, with a plain sentence explaining the number beside it.
"Net by player" is easier to find, and opens every transaction between you
and one other player.

Games that settle
An organizer can record a hole decision nobody tapped in time — clearly
marked as recorded after the hole. Decisions can no longer be double-counted
if your connection drops mid-tap.

Plus a pass over dates, tee sheets, group selection and the wagers tile.

### 1.4.0 — 2026-08-07

• Fresh installs now start at a proper front door: sign in, or create an account — no more waiting on a code that was never coming.
• Wolf Hammer (KMAC) scoring rewritten to the house rules: the cards decide the hole, accepted hammers double it (1→2→4), junk nets between the sides, and the declaration multiplier applies to everything, win or lose. Every hole balances to zero — five players included.
• The app draws the driving order at random when a game opens, and shows it on every hole — the Wolf hits first.
• New payout option at game creation: price every dot, or play flat — "Most dots wins" takes one wager from everyone.
• Tap ⓘ next to Dots for the full junk glossary, with what each is worth.
• "Who recorded what" — every game keeps its own log of picks, dots, and hammers, including voided entries.
• Enter scores without leaving the game: the round card slides up right over the Competition screen.
• Organizers: a setup checklist walks the event from created to live, and new games can open for scoring the moment they're created.
