Get it together, it’s disappointing for someone who lives out of market to really only have this app to listen live and it not work. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t even play. *2021-01-14, version 6.19.0* This app has never been “good.” At least I could hear the DC sports personalities talk DC sports most of the time. Switched to tune in radio and now they dropped the team 980.... ### 1/5 — Very disappointed *2020-12-31, version 6.19.0* Being out of market, I was happy to find the ESPN 980 app to keep up on all things Redskins, and listen to the games live if I am unable to watch. I have never reviewed an app, but was compelled to do us because of how horrible this one has functioned. I have tried to delete and reinstall this even, hoping there was some sort of bug that would fix, but even then very rarely will the live feed work. Even when it does work, it cuts out after a short period of time. Very disappointed in this app with all of the great content 980 produces. I am stunned that this product has made its way to distribution. Especially for a broadcast entity like Team 980. Constant crashes. Constant hangs. ZERO degree of thought in the GUI. No consistency from one area of app to the next. App won’t load? Just try sending a link to an email to access from browser. Actually don’t. The only thing you’ll receive is a picture of the app. No link, no shortcut. A picture. If you should miraculously get a stream to load, DON’T STOP IT. If you do either pause or stop the stream, be prepared to exit the app altogether to try and restart it. From the beginning. Not from where you left off. If the intent is to broaden your listener base by way of digital media, which this should be, it’s an EPIC fail. You are better off heading over to Amazon to purchase a transistor radio than trying to navigate this mess. Honestly, if I’m an advertiser, I want a refund. Heck, I’m only a user of this FREE app and I still want one. ### 1/5 — An app for past times *2020-09-20, version 6.16.0* This app is appropriate for how the Washington football team used to treat customers. The app doesn't connect. Then it says it's your network that is to blame. Then customer service tells you to restart the app. At no point is there an apology. At no point does someone acknowledge poor app design it is the customers fault or no one's. I like to listen daily starting at 6am but lately especially, sometimes I turn on/ click on the app... And it just says "connecting," but never does... Even try to go to the Espn 980 website and can't get the Live Broadcast on there either when the App is having issues... Ridiculous, double dipping ads between online streaming and then the radio ads means less content than ads.
