### 5/5 — Comics my fav!

*2022-07-06, version 3.6.13*

I have several favorites but I don’t understand the cat comic at all.

### 5/5 — Much better than earlier Versions

*2022-06-11, version 3.6.13*

Works pretty good now since they’ve updated it. Loads well, faster, and haven’t seen the app freeze, or shut down.

### 5/5 — PDF version of Tennessean is outstanding

*2022-05-10, version 3.6.05*

My wife and I have entirely different morning routines. She enjoys reading the physical newspaper that arrives every morning on our doorstep. On the other hand, I much prefer opening up the PDF version on my iPad, and reading all of the articles that catch my attention each morning. It is extremely easy to use, very efficient, and works when I’m traveling out of town or if for some reason the delivery of the Tennessean can’t make it. Highly recommended

### 5/5 — Great Service

*2022-04-24, version 3.6.05*

I am converting from reading the printed edition to this and so far I Love it ❤️

### 5/5 — Tennesssean App

*2022-03-14, version 3.6.05*

I enjoy beginning my day with the Tennessean. Although I prefer hard copy the new reality is that is not the way things are these days. I go to online Tennessean every morning and find it easy to access and read.

### 4/5 — Some articles are Red, and can’t be read

*2022-02-19, version 3.4.02*

Now and then, an article will be red when I see it and can’t be read in the normal fashion. Also, your proofreading needs improvement; lots of jumbled sentence order and misspelled words.

It is getting better and I appreciate it. I still wish the latest edition would show up automatically.

### 5/5 — From AZ

*2022-01-02, version 3.4.02*

Read the Tennessean everyday from AZ as we snowbird here until the weather warms up in TN in May. Enjoy keeping up with the best city in the country

### 5/5 — This App makes reading the Tennessean on line just like reading a printed paper edition

*2021-11-23, version 3.4.02*

Love getting the comic strips back!

### 5/5 — Very intuitive

*2021-11-19, version 3.4.02*

A simple, easy to use app

### 4/5 — Pretty good

*2021-11-09, version 3.4.02*

When in text mode, the article in the left side of the screen is no longer highlighted. I wish you had retained that feature in the new version.

### 4/5 — Thankful

*2021-10-04, version 3.4.02*

Glad I can get the Tennessean on this ap since the home delivery is so unreliable.

### 5/5 — Review of Tennessean Print Edition

*2021-09-29, version 3.4.02*

I look forward to reading the morning paper. It gets my day started going with current news . Thanks

### 5/5 — On line Tennesean

*2021-09-26, version 3.4.02*

Enjoy being able to read on line when delivery is not possible.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — App has gone bad

*2022-03-04, version 3.6.05*

I’ve been using the Print Edition app successfully for years. In the past week, it has quit working. The paper will load, and once I start reading, it disappears and won’t return. I’ve re-booted (both my iphone and ipad, since it’s happening on both), deleted the app and re-installed it, and nothing helps. Terrible app as of late.

### 3/5 — The Tennessean Online

*2022-11-26, version 3.6.20*

I recently traveled out of the country and was very disappointed that I couldn’t read my Tennessean while traveling as I have done many times before. I don’t know if it is a new setting that blocked my access but it was very frustrating! When I travel, I enjoy seeing my newspaper. May need to reevaluate my subscription!!!!

### 3/5 — Ellen Davis

*2022-01-01, version 3.4.02*

I consider the app to be a backup to the print edition when the print edition doesn’t show up for days at a time. I enjoy the print edition more. I have to look at the app on my iPhone. That’s pretty hard on the eyes. I really miss not getting a printed paper every day. I miss it not being delivered every morning. It should not be a surprise to look out the window at 7:00 am and see a newspaper. Plus I haven’t seen a T. V. Weekly since December 4 and it’s now January 1. My husband even misses it more because he does not have or want the app. So I would say for me the app is better than nothing.

### 3/5 — Adequate Coverage Mostly

*2021-09-10, version 3.4.02*

Well the order of my priorities include general events in my hometown of Nashville though we no longer live there since retirement. Still good sports coverage from highschool through professional ranks. The comics, jumbles, crossword, and cryptoquote are greatly enjoyed. We need to check the obituaries as well as the real estate market. That’s all good.
It’s when you put your liberal slant on national and world news, political news and opinions, that you lose me. Used to believe what I read, but on those fronts, I question everything.
Well, you did ask.

### 3/5 — Erratic app

*2021-02-14, version 3.2.43*

I never know what the ap is going to do. Take me to USAToday or the front page or yesterday’s paper or stop me all together. Sometimes when I click on the story it stays in the print mode rather than going to the read mode. The continuations are not predictable. I could go on.

### 3/5 — Emails

*2021-01-29, version 3.2.43*

A subscriber should be able to forward articles to people that would have a particular interest in the topic but it is not possible.

### 4/5 — Quick access anytime & anywhere

*2022-04-26, version 3.6.05*

I like that I can access the Nashville news anytime from wherever I go.

### 4/5 — Totally great until it fails

*2022-03-13, version 3.6.05*

When it works it is spot on perfect. The app on my iPad worked flawlessly for years and then one day it locked up. Three tech support calls, many reinstalls and hours later it still failed. To get around the problem the Tennessean canceled my subscription and I rejoined using my wife’s ID. Recently when opening the paper the app crashed. After deleting and reinstalling I got it to finally work two days later. I suspect there was something wrong with the links.

### 4/5 — Much improved

*2022-03-11, version 3.6.05*

Much more readable than last version of app. Now if the Tennessean just had a later deadline.

### 4/5 — Miss the Paper - but like updates!

*2022-02-20, version 3.4.02*

I always enjoyed reading the paper every morning-but the updates during the day are very helpful!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Enjoy the paper

*2023-05-26*

I moved away from Nashville in 2016 and still read the paper every morning online. Keeps me informed about things going on in my hometown.

### 5/5 — Great reading the paper online

*2023-05-10*

We used to get the physical paper daily. Now we used our iPad and love it. You can enlarge a story or read it again the next day. Plus, no piles of used papers. Perfect !

### 5/5 — Tennesssean App

*2023-04-05*

I enjoy beginning my day with the Tennessean. Although I prefer hard copy the new reality is that is not the way things are these days. I go to online Tennessean every morning and find it easy to access and read.

### 5/5 — Great app. Great newspaper.

*2023-01-14, version 3.6.20*

I moved to Nashville about a year ago. Based on my previous newspaper experience, I swore off of them. However, I decided to give the Tennessean online version a trial run. They do it right! Easy to navigate. Easy to read.

### 5/5 — Love this format

*2022-12-29, version 3.6.20*

My grandfather owned a small town newspaper and was president of the Tennessee Press Association for many years. He was a loyal Tennessean subscriber (as well as the Nashville Banner) and had nothing but praise. He passed that love of newspapers to all his family. Thanks for providing us with years of quality news reporting! And I love the digital print edition!

### 5/5 — Tennessean

*2022-12-25, version 3.6.20*

Great daily coverage of all events and news

### 5/5 — Great reading the paper online

*2022-11-02, version 3.6.20*

We used to get the physical paper daily. Now we used our iPad and love it. You can enlarge a story or read it again the next day. Plus, no piles of used papers. Perfect !

### 5/5 — Nicely done.

*2022-09-28, version 3.6.20*

Local, state, and national news in my pocket. What’s not to love?

### 5/5 — Tennessean Print Edition

*2022-08-31, version 3.6.20*

Love it! I take it with me on my tablet and enjoy it over breakfast. Also, it is great getting the bonus of USA Today.

### 5/5 — Just like having the paper.

*2022-07-29, version 3.6.20*

I love this print version. It’s just like having the actual paper in front of me. Since I’m old school, I like being able to find what I’m looking for instead of searching a website.
