Not able to access content. No way to contact app developer ### 1/5 — No 2022 issues *2022-09-05, version 10.3.4* No issues have appeared in the app for 2022. The developer seems incapable of correcting the problem. Who do I appeal to for a refund? ### 1/5 — Pure propaganda *2021-03-03, version 10.3.2* The Observer claims to be fiercely independent news. It is not! It is a fierce partisan Secular Progressive propaganda organization trying to use the cover of being an unbiased news organization. They champion secularism and radical left progressivism and savagely attack anyone and anything that runs counter to their ideas. If you are woke, you will have your twisted beliefs reenforced and regurgitated. No news here jus propaganda! ### 1/5 — Jerks *2019-12-20, version 10.0.1* I was excited to have the chance to see the Observer. It’s indicated that it’s “free” with in-app purchases. No, anything you want to see is $1.99 an issue, or $19.99 for a year. This is a simple fraud, and the Apple App Store shouldn’t allow this kind of “bait and switch.” ### 1/5 — Type is too small *2019-07-15, version 9.0* Love the articles, was tricked into resubscribing on itunes when i already had a print and digital subscription that goes into next year. Difficult to read without zoomimg in a ton. ### 1/5 — Not iOS 10 compatible!!! *2017-01-06, version 7.3* How are people supposed to use this if you can't sync your subscription in iOS 10. I bought the most recent issue through the AppStore but have been unable to download/view it. Andrew in Austin ### 5/5 — Easy on the Eyes! *2011-06-04, version 1.0.0* My first "aha" moment reading subscription printed media on an iPod came on a trip to San Francisco about a year ago, when I was missing my morning WS Journal delivery back home. Within a few minutes, I was happily reading the Journal using the app. And, surprisingly, I really didn't miss the paper version at all. I recently had a similar experience with the Observer, something I did not subscribe to, but liked to read. I grabbed the Observer app, clicked on the issue I was interested in, and was reading it within a minute or so. I found the interface clean, simple, and intuitive. I’m now completely sold on the concept of reading on a mobile device. ### 5/5 — Liberals in Texas? *2011-06-02, version 1.0.0* Liberals in Texas? Who'd a thunk it? Austin must be their sanctuary city. The Observer on the iPad is nicely done. To get the most space for its trenchant observations, the paper Observer uses a small type size. Hence, I particularly like that you can zoom the text to fill the screen. I haven't seen the download problems other users have seen.
