I’m not sure what’s going on, but they’re so-called news is very biased ### 2/5 — Joined the “community” *2025-04-28* Straight up doesn’t work or change anything about using the app. You log in, go to an article to try to comment, and it says you need to login to comment. Clicked on the link to login and did, still nothing changes. You need to fix this garbage you haven’t had an update in MONTHS. Most times the app doesn’t remember me and I have to sign in from scratch. I’ve contacted support several times and they’re completely unhelpful. This app isn’t worth it until The Times of Israel respects the viewers enough to stop the ads, and put out articles longer than 3-4 sentences when they have little to nothing to say. You cannot even get through a single page without being redirected. I have to login every time I use it, which as a paid subscriber is a pain, and I find when browsing the “front page”, and scroll down, it scrolls back to the top and I lose my place. ### 1/5 — Great journalism horrible app *2024-06-20* The live updates are a key feature of my day but lately every few minutes it automatically takes me out of the app to load an ad in safari and I haven't even tapped anything. It is beyond frustrating. Then of course when I go back the entire page reloads and I have to scroll all the way back down only to do the same thing again in a few minutes. PLEASE FIX! I finally just deleted the app entirely and now just use the website bookmarked on my home screen. But the app itself has become impossible to use. You read an article for a ew seconds and then a blank gray screen appears and you can no longer read any articles. From the looks of it a webview, but it’s reasonably fast and intuitive. The app has received horrible ratings exclusively from people using it for free, just thought to add a different pov. $6 for ad-free access on web and mobile to a quality paper is worth every penny in my books.
