However with an empty search bar i thought i would be able to see all the topos/ spots on the map that there are. So browsing for new places is now impossible. However this works online on Safari on my Mac. Seems to be a App problem with the Map. Was very happy with the App and already paid the premium a lot of times but this now is frustrating. **Developer response:** Hi! This sounds like you might have some filters active on the map, which then hides part of the topos. Could you please check that you don't have any filters activated (e.g. hide community topos)? It should fix the issue, please let me know if it did! ### 3/5 — Laggy after the new update… *2026-04-19, version 3.1.1* I loved this app so much and it’s sad to see how much the performance dropped after the new update. Can’t even add nee lines and topo images without the app crashing multiple times. Even simple scrolling through topos is a pain :( Good thing the web version works well. ### 3/5 — Costa Blanca *2025-10-14, version 3.0.4* For Costa Blanca area I wouldn’t yet recommend this app. ### 2/5 — What a downgrade *2025-10-13* Truly a disappointing “upgrade”, not fit for release. A much worse user experience with so much more menu-diving, and irreversible browsing. Every time you go out of the app - without closing it, it resets and the crag you were viewing is gone. The topos rarely start on the first, but show you a random picture from the group. Sometimes you select a crag and navigate to parking is available, sometimes it’s hidden until you open a topo. The browsing needs to be much more hierarchical, it’s so frustrating needing to go back to start of a crag, or even the map, in order to view the next sector or topo in a crag. This is no longer a premium experience, it’s frustratingly inconsistent. I won’t be continuing my subscription until things get substantially better, the simple navigation in the old version was preferable. **Developer response:** Thank you for the review and apologies about the experience! Please delete the current version and then reinstall the new one, this should make sure things work as they should. What UX? *2025-08-22* Maybe the worst UI/UX I’ve experienced for a long time. Interaction loops make no sense. No in-app sorting by grade at a given area. Just let me adjust the grain to all boulders in X area by ascents/etc. Impossible to track back to area fell earmarked/to-do climbs. As a premium service is offers nothing but “here are the climbs”, I’d rather buy 100 guidebooks. **Developer response:** Hi and thank you for the review! I’m writing this review after one day of using this app! Here are some of my gripes. 1. There’s no way to easily filter routes in the app. For example, I want to be able to easily search for boulders V6-10 above 1 star. There is no intuitive way to do this in the app. 2. It is unnecessarily difficult to download areas. You have to download “sectors” individually, there is no way to download an entire area (e.g. Rocklands). Why not? Also, my friend downloaded some sectors that were not available later on when he was on airplane mode. 3. The app crashed when I was trying to download a larger “sector” and I came to write this review, cancel my subscription, and search for another product that works. Hope you guys fix this! Wege in den Sektoren nicht eingezeichnet, Felsformen und Blickrichtung nicht erkennbar, Navigation in der App schlecht (Man muss dauernd wieder über die Gesamtsicht zum Standort zoomen, keine Filterfunktion (zum Bsp nach Schwierigkeit, Slab, oder nur gemerkte Boulder anzeigen). Also, we're just working on a new app version where navigation and other aspects are significantly improved! ### 3/5 — Great concept, UX can be improved *2025-04-18* The app contains great features and detailed information, but the list navigation is counterintuitive, it needs to be “learned” to not make the same mistakes again. Click a favourite and goes to the region and if you pop out of the app (not closing it) and back in the maps reset. No easy zoom to location for navigating to the crag. Finally many topos missing and little addition for premium. Not worth it. **Developer response:** Hi and sorry to hear about your experience! We're currently doing a fully new version of the app, where especially these things you mentioned will be improved! The goal is to release the app in Spring 2025. When it comes to Premium, the coverage is different in different countries. In UK we have topos from Peak District and some other areas, and new topos are added every day all over Europe! ### 1/5 — Really Horrible *2024-11-04* As soon as you try and use this you will see how pathetic it is. Only time I would ever use it is when they’re is no other information for an area. **Developer response:** Hi! As free topos are not moderated, they are often incomplete and have wrong information. Premium topos on the other hand are made by local climbers and they are complete and of high quality! ### 1/5 — App is unusable *2024-07-26, version 2.14* I bought the app specifically for my trip to Bor few days ago. It was impossible to see the topos in the app even though they should be there. Detaillierte Topos auf Bildern (nicht auf Zeichnungen) von lokalen Erschließern und Kletterern zusammengestellt und veröffentlicht. Win-Win für alle: Die in Teil der Einnahmen landet bei den lokalen Autoren, die dann wiederum diese finanziellen Mittel für Sanierungen und Neu-Erschließungen nutzen können. So hilfst du als User mit einem kleinen Beitrag nicht einem Verlag, sondern vor allem der Community. Dafür gibts Unmengen an Topos weltweit und jeden Tag kommen mehr dazu. In Deutschland steht im Jahr 2024 eine große Aktion an neue Topoautoren zu finden und mit ihnen zusammenzuarbeiten. Als Autor der ersten Stunde bin ich ebenfalls User und die App passt zum Spirit der Klettercommunity. Zustiege, GPS Parkplatz und Felslocation, Bildmaterial, Beschreibungen, Bewertungen, Kommentarfunktion, alles drin was man braucht.
