## What is The Tune Project?

Practice fiddle tunes at your own pace. Slow any recording to half speed, loop a single bar, and follow along on the score as it plays. The Tune Project brings the sheet music and practice recordings you own from thetuneproject.org to your iPhone and iPad.

PRACTICE AT YOUR OWN SPEED
Slow a recording down as far as half speed and it stays in tune. Loop one bar, two, four or eight until your hands know them, with a count-in before you start. A cursor follows the music on the score as it plays, so you never lose your place.

THE SCORE, LARGE AND CLEAR
The sheet music fills the screen, and turning your device sideways makes the notation bigger. Tap a bar to go there, hold a bar to loop it, and write your own markings on the score.

WHAT IS IN THE APP
- Your tunes from thetuneproject.org: the sheet music and, where there is one, a practice recording
- Speed from full pace down to half, without the sound falling apart
- Loops from a single bar up, and a count-in before you play
- A click, or a subdivided click, that keeps time with the recording
- Markings you draw on the score, kept on your device
- A metronome with tap tempo, and a tuner that shows which string you are on and how far off it is
- Tutorial videos alongside the tunes they belong to
- Notifications for new tunes and workshops, all off until you turn them on

WORKS WITHOUT A SIGNAL
Once you have opened and played a tune, its music stays on your device, so a dead signal does not cost you a practice session.

TRY IT FIRST
A free sample tune opens without an account. It is the same player, the same slow-down and the same score. The metronome and the tuner also work without an account.

ABOUT YOUR TUNES
Your tunes come from thetuneproject.org and appear in the app when you sign in with the same account. Tunes from a guest order show up too, matched by your email address. The app sells nothing and never handles payment details.

PRIVACY
The tuner listens through your device's microphone, and no audio leaves the device. There is no advertising, no analytics and no tracking.
