This is an excellent app and definitely beats other tuning fork apps (ie apps that don’t play your note of you have mute on!) ### 2/5 — what's it for? *2019-12-13* I was hoping to be able to select a note and have the app play it, you know, like selecting a tuning fork and then using it. It does not do that. You need to know a number and dial it in. It's not clear if the number is a frequency or a wavelength - and the app plays a note - which it calls 'a', whatever sound it makes. The app has no more functionality than that. There goes 99p and 10 minutes lost forever. ### 1/5 — Not what I’d hoped. *2019-12-04* I’ve used actual tuning forks for over thirty years. I love tuning using the “beat” from the interference of two frequencies. I now wear hearing aids that can act as Bluetooth ear buds for this and I thought it would be perfect. Unfortunately, the tone is not generated from a high quality recording of an actual fork but by a digital signal generator. The sound is offensive and unusable.
