## What is The Unwritten War?

The war is not written until you command it.

The Unwritten War combines a persistent alternate-history campaign with accessible arcade action. Choose one of 64 national commands, guide its cabinet through 1933–1950, and take direct control when strategy becomes combat.

COMMAND A LIVING TIMELINE

Shape alliances, industry, research, supply and national confidence. Consequences carry through the campaign to a scored aftermath. Historical people, places and equipment are identified in the War Archive; counterfactual outcomes are clearly separated.

ENTER THE FIELD

Play 42 campaign operations with top-down movement, cover, patrols, objectives and extraction. Manage finite ammunition, reloads, heavy weapons and recovery supplies. Command armored vehicles, intercept aircraft and protect naval convoys.

KEEP THE LONG WAR GOING

Continue beyond the authored campaign with generated operations that vary terrain, patrols, weather and objectives. Rotate between ground, armored, air and naval action, with side-scrolling dispatch episodes using jump and slide controls. Long War progress is saved locally on your device.

A NEW FIELD COMMAND

Move between Operations, War Cabinet, Arsenal and Long War. Prepare a loadout, select support and bring campaign and commander bonuses into battle.

Landscape touch controls, assisted or manual aim, one-handed layouts, color-vision options, high contrast, reduced motion, adaptive audio and native haptics. Campaign saves and ongoing operation records let you return to your command.
