It just sits and spins. ### 2/5 — Won’t complete check-ins *2023-04-18* Spins and spins but won’t check in. USO check-in process is cumbersome in person. App is supposed to be fast and easy. It won’t complete the check in process. I just get a loading circle and the check in process never completes. UPDATE: It’s been over two years since I got this app, and it still does not allow me to check in. Unfortunately the app requires an email verification. That’s where it’s broken. The email that comes back takes to the page on the USO site to download the app. There’s no way to get beyond that ### 1/5 — Can’t log in *2021-12-19, version 4.6.0* I also experience the continuous loop of email verification. ### 2/5 — It’s a time saver, but …. ! *2021-10-29* But why does the app allow me to check in when the facility is closed? Two examples: Las Vegas USO has a location in Terminal 1 and 3. I checked in for T3 and it was and is closed for the foreseeable future. Second example at DFW. I just checked in okay, made the long trek to B47, and the facility is closed due to water pipe breaks. Been like that for a while apparently. There need to be a way that the user can be assured the facility is open when they check in. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2021-09-06, version 4.4.0* Won’t let me login. Used to work🤷‍♂️. ### 1/5 — Validation Stuck on Loop *2021-08-02* I’ve tried to validate my account over 10 times through the e-mail link (using the e-mail address provided to my local USO Pathfinder rep) and it keeps taking me to the USO page suggesting download of the app. I’ve already downloaded the app. I even deleted the app and reinstalled to see if this was just a issue on my end. Something is wrong with the link, it would be nice to be able to use this app sometime before I exit service ### 1/5 — Couldn’t check in *2021-05-18* The Charlotte airport is now requiring people to check in on the app. I was never able to complete my sign in check in because I couldn’t complete my profile. The volunteers let me in the USO after several minutes of troubleshooting with no success. The person before me didn’t have that issue... I have an iPhone so it might be a person by person case. ### 3/5 — Verification *2021-05-07* Tried almost ten times to verify email address for USO Pathfinder to no avail. Simply kept taking to APP Store where I open USO and then get taken to verify email again. Tried to Skip and then no Pathfinder option. Frustrating to say the least. Recommend checking this as my friends also cannot log on via the app even though most of them are kinda ok. ### 1/5 — Does not work *2024-07-15, version 5.0.4* I am unable to check-in to any USO. When I try to, it loads in perpetuity. ### 1/5 — Useless *2024-07-13* There is no point in using an app to check in as it never works. I drill out of state and fly once a month if not more. No matter how much signal I have, the app never gets past the checking in wheel of death. I tried to place a screenshot however it is disabled. I also tried editing my dates of service and every time I tried it automatically reset it to todays date. Only other thing I would add right now is the location of the closest USO. I know we don’t have one in our area but it could at least direct me to the nearest one instead of telling me what I already know (that none are in my location). ### 1/5 — App no longer works *2023-07-28* I used to use this app to check in quickly, but it no longer works. It just says checking in, but never actually finishes checking in. Thought it was maybe the location I was trying to check in to, but it was the same for another location as well. They assigned me someone to check on my monthly as I start my journey out of the military, as well as providing me with a checklist on how to get started. It makes checking in much faster, and I usually skip the line. Being military, we all like that high-speed low-drag kind of thing. I do wish there was some sort of barcode type of system we could use instead, like a boarding pass, that could be added to a Apple wallet. Currently, however, I’m having an issue with the app. When you go to check in, it loads indefinitely. This has happened at multiple airports and my app version is up to date. I’ve tried everything to solve this on my end but I think it’s a bug.
