Looking for a home service professional for your next job? Download The Village Ledger for free today to find the most used professionals in your area. Search for a professional by service category, business name, or business owner's name. Add the professional to your team to quickly request work from them in the future, when you have repair or maintenance needs for your house. Fill out the Job Request Form and send it to one professional at a time, or multiple professionals at once. You choose how many professionals get the request. If your chosen professional is unavailable, you can use the same request to contact another professional, or more. No need to start over describing your problem each time you contact a new professional. All the information necessary to solve the problem will be provided by you up front, and then it's just a matter of agreeing to the price and schedule terms with the right professional for the job. See who are the most used professionals in your area by viewing the professional's job history in each category. See a professional that looks good in your search? Add that professional to your team, so that you can easily manage your home's maintenance anytime, and request jobs quickly when you think of work that needs to be done. You'll receive notifications each time a service provider submits a proposal to you. If multiple professionals have submitted proposals for the same job; compare them, choose the one you like the best, and accept it. All the other proposals will automatically be rejected, and each professional that submitted a bid will be notified about your decision. As soon as you submit a job request to a professional, an in-app phone call button will become available so that you can contact the professional. The professional will be able to reach out to you as well if they have any questions or need to clarify any details about the scope of the job. We will collect money from your preferred payment method so that when the job is completed, the professional will be paid automatically and you don't have to worry about anything else.  Use this app to manage your entire household. Any and all service professionals that enter your home can and should be ordered through this mobile application to make your home life more organized. Reach out to us if you need help onboarding any of your favorite professionals, and we'll continue our independent outreach to make sure there are sufficient service providers in your area. Professionals will download a different version of this app, called The Village Ledger Pro, where they will receive your job requests and respond with a proposal to schedule either 1) a site visit, to gather more information, 2) a service call, charging an hourly rate, or else if they have enough information they can propose a custom quote. I have found the app very easy to use , cutting my search time in half.
