Problem I find is that you can not set a location to find stores near. I have been doing some traveling and day trips. I would like to be able to before my trip out in a location, find the stores near there and then plan my trip accordingly but instead I have to drive to the town and then open the app to find the stores. The biggest improvement needs to be a search function. So you can plan to visit locations outside of your current area. Sad to see if has annoying Google ads now. Given that this app is mostly used while walking/traveling looking for records I can't imagine too many people are clicking on ads for Spanish lessons. Also the placement of the ads makes it impossible to add a photo to your profile as they obscure the menu. The app is good for locating a record store but that's about all I use it for. Other than that, there's nothing else to do on it. Their feeble attempt to make it an interactive social network tool is comical. The new app icon is hideous by the way. Looks like it was made by a 10 year old in Microsoft paint. I like the old one more but it's really a deal breaker. It also includes abc music which has been shut down for about 5 years and never even sold vinyl. I travelled to find the first few stores on the app and found none. I always use this when I travel to see what record stores are in whatever city I happen to be in. One thing I hope is that there will start to be more reviews of the stores listed. Even asking the stores to do a little right up about what type of place they are.
