I tried to turn the dials to flip the letters etc but it barely goes more than a click, nothing turns and nothing happens.

クリアしました。暗号が難解で大変でしたがどうにかいけました。
ネタバレになるので内容は伏せますが、休憩中の職場でボロ泣きでした。エンディングもやや難解だったので、二周目(?)でゆっくり読み解いていこうと思ってます。良ゲーです。
