When buying keys to help get through difficult levels, there was a deal for 200 keys for 89p - sounded too good to be true! And it was! Charged me £4.99 without me realising and I never even received the keys. I’ve had to file a complaint through Apple to get a refund. Such a shame as it’s so good on the computer. ### 3/5 — Worth it?? *2021-07-23* It’s seems fun, but since it’s a paid app, it would be nice to have some app updates. It looks like the last update was at least two years ago, which leads to some problems. For example, it isn’t sized properly for an iPhone 12. And security details are no longer available. With in-app purchases, it makes me wonder about the value behind the price (since Wikipedia is ostensibly supposed to be free). ### 2/5 — Ok *2021-02-18, version 2.1.1* Really enjoy this game, but I wish there was more levels. I'd be happy to pay extra for more. I did pay 99p for 5 extras but I didn't receive them. Hence the low score. Please add more levels. ### 3/5 — A little underwhelming *2021-02-12, version 2.1.1* The concept of this game is fun! I bought this because I missed the wiki game I used to play on my android. There are two main things that take away from the fun for me 1. The way the Wikipedia articles are displayed. They are displayed with every section expanded, so you have to scroll through every section and it’s easy to get lost between sections and subsections. There is no overview outline with major sections to expand and minimize like an actual Wikipedia article. This just makes it frustrating and tedious to skim through. Yes, there are arrow buttons to skip through sections, but I still wish everything wasn’t automatically expanded. 2. The levels seem to be pre-determined, not randomized (I could be wrong and would be happy to be corrected!) Other wiki games I've played randomize your start and end points every time, and that’s what keeps it interesting. I was disappointed to see levels like “bird to spider” and “NYC to prohibition” (those, along with some others, seem way too straightforward). I get that maybe they’re keeping the beginning levels easy, but a beginner could just as easily use randomization until they get a beginner level combo. It just gets boring and kind of does Wikipedia a disservice considering how expansive it is! ### 4/5 — Doesn’t make sense sometimes *2020-06-05* Asked to go from wine to Jesus..... scroll down, find Jesus in one click.... gives me 2 coins instead of 3 and says I’m 3 clicks over the perfect path.. no ### 4/5 — Web version has bugs too but much better than app *2020-04-17* There’s no scrolling to the right/left so some pages are cut off if there’s a table or embedded bullet points. ### 4/5 — I really want to love this game *2020-04-12* Unfortunately this game has some bugs. For example, if the goal word is “Tango” and I click on just that word in the Wikipedia article, it has been since been renamed to Tango (Argentina) so it doesn’t work. So I click another “Tango” in the article and it redirects me to Tango (dance)...still not the correct Tango apparently. So I click another Tango and finally it recognized it. By then I am getting the lowest score because of all the extra clicks. This game needs to updated with Wikipedia semi regularly. Also could you let us know how many clicks are in the perfect path while we’re trying to figure it out! Fingers crossed that there will be some support for this game and it won’t just die off. **Developer response:** Thanks, but that is how Wikipedia is really structured, eg there is an article which is precisely "Tango" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tango), but there are also more "specific" articles like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argentine_tango that you are hitting before you get to the actual goal. I hope you reconsider your review, as it is quite low for something that is out of our control. It's polished, it works great. Plenty of single-player fun. That's just it though, I know there's a multiplayer variant online. I think if multiplayer features were available this would get my five stars. **Developer response:** Appreciate the feedback. You mention the app "is polished and works great", and has "plenty of single-player fun" - and that's just what the app was made to be: for those who wanted a single player version of the online multiplayer game, so it's a bit disappointing/confusing you end up rating it relatively low. There’s no multiplayer function, therefore it’s SO much less fun than the original but they have the gall to still charge $2 for it? Do not buy this under any circumstances.
