Hi Tdeyoungz, we are well aware you are not a real user of the platform and are only submitting malicious reviews that are being reported to Apple. If Apple continues to see your Apple ID submitting malicious reviews, they can take necessary actions to limit or restrict your Apple account. To answer your concerns YES, we are a location based platform! However its not as simple as showing your location to others. There are many protection mechanisms put in place that protect the safety of our users that are very important to understand, so thank you for allowing us to call them out here! When you go online, you are ANONYMOUS by default, so nobody has the ability to recognize you, unless of course you want to be, so you control whether or not your photos are visible to others. Basically, you are just an anonymous pin on the map to others. Also, your location is not updated in real time, so it's not necessarily true that anyone can see your "exact" location. Another safety measure we've added is detecting when you are in motion, your location is paused until you reach your destination. Lastly, we encourage you to set privacy areas that automatically protect any location that is "off limits" like your home or work. These are a few of the safety measures that assure you can't be stalked or tracked on the platform. We've even user tested these mechanisms to ensure you can't be tracked through the platform. So, thank you for allowing us to discuss these features as it's important for all of our users to understand how and why Swerv is safe. Even if it's in response to your fake review, it's a great place to explain how it works under the hood!

Hi there, you can go offline anytime by pressing the power button on the top left of the screen. Location only needs to be on/enabled while your online, or the app is in the background (this is how the primary goal of guiding you to meet people is able to work successfully). We are still new but growing quickly. Keep in mind its a different dynamic than traditional dating apps that flood you with profiles to keep you swiping. On Swerv, you'll only see the people you match with, and those people have to be online at the same time as you. This is why we consider it more of a dating tool than an app. Keep checking back as more users are joining every day! Appreciate the feedback and thanks for believing in us!
