As was true in the first two Wired Bunch stories, there's a real depth and strength of character on display here. I found myself getting genuinely invested in the plot, while, at the same time, even our youngest had no trouble following along right beside me on the adventure! The writers don't underestimate kids (or adults!), and they manage to hit the perfect balance as a result: everyone here enjoyed the story! This book in particular seems more interactive than the other two, the artwork keeps getting even richer, and the way the narrator delivers a moment of surprise is hilarious.
