Aber eine Sache stört mich sehr(deswegen auch der Stern Abzug): Das ganze Spiel ist offline zu spielen (was ja eigentlich sehr gut ist), aber um das Spiel zu starten (und nur dafür) brauche ich Internet und dass kann je nach dem wo wo man ist, sehr frustrierend sein 😂. ### 2/5 — Gwent was fun, this is not *2023-08-09* The game is basically a series of puzzle Gwent matches. That seems like a fun idea, but the puzzles feel like they’re designed to require a very specific set of actions and cards to win, so the match is less about clever strategy and more about frustrating trail-and-error until you find the exact series of actions required to win. To make things worse, each match starts with random card draws, so if you don’t have the cards you need you can lose before you even begin. But the final straw is that your AI opponent seems to have a massive advantage over you in every match, like you’re a beginner playing against a pro, so you never just lose, you’re crushed in defeat every time in a way that makes the game feel impossible and hopeless. Gwent is a great multiplayer card game, but unfortunately this single player spin-off just feels wildly unbalanced. ### 2/5 — Game is awesome…needs controller support *2023-03-23* Game is awesome…needs controller support ### 3/5 — No Offline Play *2022-10-13, version 1.1* This single player game can’t be played offline. Thanks ### 3/5 — STILL NO GWENT REWARDS *2022-09-08* I’ve googled over and over trying to find out why the rewards won’t transfer to my gwent account.. I’ve clicked multiplayer and linked through Facebook, the App Store, and the game login but nothing ever shows up. I don’t think I’ve read of anyone who successfully got the rewards to transfer? With such a big incentive that has obviously had difficulties for quite some time, why has it not even been addressed? As far as the game, other than hoping for a wider variety of core deck mechanics and potential cards which is made is compensated by the presence of the story, I can’t really complain. Game gets a 3.7/5… but not addressing the transfer of gwent rewards is a big deal. ### 2/5 — No offline *2022-08-30* Decent game, but it’s absurd you cannot play the main storyline offline. ### 3/5 — Finalfight verbuggt *2022-08-11* Hatte schon im Laufe des Spiels oftmals bugs, aber der hier ist echt nervig. Der finalfight dauert so schon lange, und dann werden die Kartenfähigkeiten nicht ausgeführt, da man kein Ziel anklicken kann. Man hängt einfach mit dem Pfeil im Bildschirm kann überall rumdrücken aber es passiert nichts. Mega ärgerlich wenn man am gewinnen ist und dann den Kampf abbrechen muss, weil man auch nicht passen kann. Sonst ein tolles Game. Story und Charaktere sind interessant, aber wenn Geralt mehr beworben wurde als er wirklich Teil des Spiels ist. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Loss of content *2026-02-09* As a purchaser of the original, full version a number of years ago, I was glad when this new version informed me I could still access the full game I had paid for by re-downloading it. As other reviewers have noted, however, it is not possible to download the earlier version, and my access to the content I paid for originally has therefore been taken from me. ### 1/5 — Waste of Money *2025-01-30* I bought the full version as I loved playing the game on my pc and figured I’d buy it to play at work but it took the full version away for some reason and when I try to restore purchase it just does not work. ### 1/5 — Bought the game once and have to buy it again? *2024-11-17* I previously purchased the premium version of the game before it was pulled from the AppStore and replaced with this one. En plus ces puzzles recréent souvent bien la thématique d’une situation donnée je trouve (et ils sont variés) Des batailles de Gwent plus classiques mais avec souvent des caractéristiques particulières ce qui empêche aussi la monotonie. Seule chose il faut absolument commencer le jeu avec la difficulté maximale (je ne l’ai pas fait) sinon ces batailles plus « classiques » sont souvent trop faciles et on ne peut pas changer la difficulté en cours de jeu. C’est un jeu « complet » avec une campagne et qui n’est pas un rogue like ce qui change de la plupart des jeux de cartes (pas à la Legends of Runeterra ou Gwent) Une histoire vraiment sympa Bref si vous aimez les jeux de cartes, foncez ! I’ve played all the Witcher Games, and play the separate Gwent game. The story telling of Thronebreaker is really good. Some of the puzzles are pretty challenging and most are fun. The story battles can be difficult, but are always enjoyable. One solid play through is roughly 60hrs of gameplay. I win the first Gwent game and then the button to end my turn does not work; preventing me from progressing. I have restarted and tried again, only to encounter the same bug. Thank you CDPR! ### 5/5 — Hervorragend *2022-09-01* The Witcher Tales - Thronebreaker liefert eine interessante Story, die im Verlaufe immer wieder kleinere und größere Entscheidungen erlaubt. Besonders solche Entscheidungen, die einen Charakter/eine Karte kosten, haben Gewicht und können sehr schmerzen. Von den Charakteren sind mir vor allem Reynard und Gascon ans Herz gewachsen und ihre Karten haben mir in vielen Schlachten gute Dienste erwiesen. Meve ist eine solide, stark geschriebene Protagonistin, die mir von Anfang an sympathisch war. Der Soundtrack ist klasse, das Artwork und Gamedesign sehr ansprechend. Das kartenbasierte Gameplay macht Spaß, der Schwierigkeitsgrad ist angemessen und bietet Raum zum tüfteln.
