My question is when are the next episodes coming out? I purchased them and really don’t want my money going to waste if they never come out. It’s been like a month now after I played the first episode and I just now purchased them thinking if I purchased them, they’d show up. However I seen after I purchased that it was a pre-purchase option…which is fine but if I have to wait months and months for them to release after this game has already been finished for years I’m going to be a little disappointed. Much appreciated if y’all could release them soon as $14 isn’t much but it is money that should be well spent and so far I’m bummed I can’t play any further episodes. ### 4/5 — Amazing game but *2022-10-01, version 1.4* So i have actually beat the game which was really fun the story and everything was fun but after having for like three weeks and not playing it I deleted well soon later i got back into the game but now it’s saying that every episode is coming soon which doesn’t make any sense so now i can only play episode one which annoyed me plz fix this i would love to play this game again ### 4/5 — Save files *2020-09-29, version 1.4* This game is great, but i can never get to the end cuz it takes up so much storage space on the save files. I got all the way to level five and couldn’t download that last level cuz of all the space taken up. Not by the levels, I deleted those as i went along, just the save files. I’ve tried deleting the app and re-uploading it several times, and while I am able to restore purchases I can’t restore any of my deleted choices : ie the save files... I’m playing this on an iPhone 7... is there a dilution to this? ### 3/5 — Great game but...Gameplay on phone is clunky at best *2019-01-01, version 1.3* Issues are not with animation or story but gameplay design for my iphone: The software for iOS is cumbersome, and ability to interact with items that are highlighted really gets in the way of the gameplay. Simple tasks like getting on an elevator or opening a door are needlessly difficult. You never want to have controls issues be a hurdle to the game, and this one lost me after the inciting incident because of those problems. Controls aren’t adjustable and the attempt to make a controller movement integrate with the touch screen either needs to be better built or scrapped for a more traditional point-and-click adventure game feel... ### 4/5 — Great Story but here’s how to fix that bug *2018-12-05, version 1.3* Its a great game, the story is amazing. There is this one bug where all the answer choices say “This Choice Is Blank” or something along the lines of that. What I did to fix it is I paused it went to the main menu. A lot of people mess up because they press continue story instead of pressing the actual chapter you’re on then it should ask what do you want to save it on. Select the auto saved chapter that’s in the far left and select overwrite. It will be fixed however I understand if you’re in the middle of the chapter and have to do this. It gets annoying after a while but this shouldn’t happen often so good luck! ### 3/5 — Options don’t work *2018-08-05, version 1.3* I played this game on the PS4 and it worked just fine. I played a full play through of it, but once I get to the inside of my apt. It doesn’t let me look or touch anything. I can walk around but it prohibits me from going forward in the game. Essentially, I’m stuck. Telltale should really fix this. I know it’s not just my own phone having this problem, because my girlfriend tried to play it on her phone and she had the same issue at the same spot. Fix this please!! ### 4/5 — Love it ... but want my money back *2018-06-03, version 1.3* I finished the 1st episode and I paid for the whole 2-5 episode right so when I went to download it it keep saying “ download unavailable connect to internet “ .... I’m using WiFi so I am connected to the internet and my phone is working great I just don’t know what the problem is try to restore my purchases and it’s letting me click but it’s not doing anything love the game so much but if I can’t play the ones that I PAID for then I want my money back ### 4/5 — For the most part is AMAZING *2018-05-05, version 1.3* My only problem was near the end of the first episode... after the transition to the final part and all of a sudden shows up a choice selection that says for each one "There is no choice here!" or something like that. and also the final dialogue got buggy. Mostly it was just Nerissa's dialogue being delayed and getting cut off sometimes. just please fix that at least. ### 4/5 — In app purchases do not work! *2018-04-06, version 1.3* I want to start off by saying that my hat is off for the linear story, I’ve played this game multiple times on Xbox and I always find myself coming back to it. Truly the best telltale game in my opinion. But, there are some issues with the game on IOS. I can’t purchase any of the episodes, it tells me; Error: Failed Every time. Nevertheless still excited for season 2 so HURRY up already! ### 4/5 — Work out the bugs, please! *2017-11-13, version 1.3* I love this game. LOVE. IT. However, it is VERY buggy. More than once, I had to exit the game and restart because all my choices were blank (it told me so), and at the end of episode five, most of Bigby and Nerissa’s conversation was cut out. Their lips would move, I’d be presented with options, but didn’t have a clue what to do because I couldn’t hear anything. I’d love to replay this game, try out different choices, but the bugs are so annoying it isn’t worth it. ### 4/5 — Little Buggy, but Still Great *2017-10-12, version 1.3* I watches several YouTubers play this, and I got it for myself as soon as I could. The first episode is obviously free, but the other four cost money. There's a bug in my game in the second chapter that says my choices for responses are blank, and I have to take a wild guess at choosing a response and pray it was the right one. I know I'm not the only one with this problem, so please get this fixed as soon as possible. The story is very engrossing, and I really want to see what happens next. I can't do that if I can't progress, which is what the aforementioned bug is causing. I can't get further without making the right choices. Also, the controls are a bit touchy. Makes it hard for me to select options for interacting with objects, since it won't register as me hitting the buttons. ### 3/5 — Look, I love this game... *2017-09-03, version 1.3* But this is just awful! I don't know if it's a glitch from my download, but when I try to click on something that has multiple options, I LITERALLY CANNOT click any of the options! No matter where I click, no matter what I do, it will just close out of the option like I clicked off to the side or something! I literally cannot get passed the part where you're supposed to wake Colin up because of this, I just can't do it, it won't work! Please respond to this… *2024-05-04* When are the rest of the chapters coming out? I want to buy this game but reading the reviews I’m not sell sure now. And why are you selling the full game if it’s not billable? It was obviously available a few years ago according to some comments. So if the game was here years ago and now it’s supposedly not. The latest review in March said they purchased the rest of the chapters but can’t play them. Sounds to me like you may be scamming your customers and thats just disgusting. I mean this isn’t even the company that made the game. So if what it seems like is happening, is really happening, then well your just straight robbing people and if that’s the case you should be held accountable. But unfortunately for issues such as this in this day in age just seem to fall on deaf ears. I’m just glad I didn’t go through with purchasing this and adding myself to the list of people you have robbed. ### 1/5 — The game is bugged BIG TIME *2020-05-15, version 1.3* I played this game about 5 years ago, bought the entire game, because was awesome back then. Now, it’s filled with glitches. Every possible answer you can choose from on episode 2 on is “this choice is blank”, meaning if you select one, the wrong thing can happen that’ll throw off the entire game, of you just select silence, that can also throw off the game. The only way to fix the issue is by closing out the game and opening it back up, but then it takes you back to a previous save, possibly a previous episode that you’ve already beaten because the game is so glitched. I’d say don’t download and save your time. “Life is strange” is an amazing rpg choice game that doesn’t have glitches, I recommend that instead. **Developer response:** Hi. The comic graphics are beautiful, the crime story is entertaining and the voices are great. However, since Telltale doesnt exist anymore, this game has not aged well with the new iPad iOS. It is full of bugs. Everything worked fine until I purchased the Episodes 2-5 package. From then on, about 1 out of 4 times the choices were blank and I was not able to see what I selected even in critical situations. This is deadly for a choice-based game. There were further parts were there were no voices, so I could not hear what the characters were saying - which was most depressing at the end, when the story unfolded. Because of that I don’t fully understand how the story ended. Further, it was not possibly to see the overview of choices I made in the Extras menu, because the system would not let me scroll down. I will ask for my money back, because it is unacceptable that the now seller of the game keeps it in the store without maintaining it. This is a rip-off. I read through other negative reviews and obviously I am not the only one experiencing this issue. Again: Great compliment to Telltale Games. I played episode 1 and loved the storyline and characters! Even the atmosphere and music are great! So after episode 1 I immediately purchased the multipack for episodes 2-5. Problem is all my choices went away and all I would see is “This choice is blank!” This happened immediately in season 2. I find it funny that the free episode worked flawlessly but the paid ones are unplayable because not having choices seriously diminishes the gameplay. I read forums online to try to find an answer because apparently this happens to many people. They advised to restart the game. Which I did several times but the problem never went away permanently. Finally I decided to delete from my phone and reinstall (even though I would lose my choices from episode 1). This didn’t help at all and now I’m back to square one. I’m so disappointed! It’s very well written and intriguing. But when the major thing you do in this kind of game is select dialogue choices, and there is a bug that makes every choice say “this choice is blank”, there is no point in picking a random answer. I spent $15 on the episode bundle, and feel very disappointed and cheated. I have tried the work-around that TellTale support has recommended but I experience the same problem. How do I go about getting my money back? I paid for a product that is unusable as it was designed. Very frustrated and discouraged user here. ### 2/5 — Worst controls I have ever seen *2021-07-20, version 1.4* I really want to love this game. I was a big fan of Telltale, and I loved the Walking Dead series. But I swear, I have never seen such awful controls in an iOS game. Interacting with objects is a maddening experience. You can click on the eyeball, the hand, or you can just hold your phone up in the air and spin around in a circle 3 times, because the result will be the same: nothing! You can move the character to the front of the object, beside the object, semi-close to the object, or you can move him all the way to Cleveland—again, NOTHING HAPPENS. How could Telltale have screwed this up so badly? There were NONE of these problems on Walking Dead. You tapped the screen to move, and if you tapped an object or tapped a character to talk to them, it actually worked. This game seems so cool, but it’s just about unplayable in its current status. No way will I buy more episodes until I’m sure that someone has fixed these bugs! ### 2/5 — Nice but not a game *2018-06-06, version 1.3* This is not a game. It’s animated TV show. The graphics are great, the story decent as well as the music and the fight scenes. However, the game doesn’t require any use of brain. Just pressing on circles is not adventure game. Just picking conversation options is not adventure game. The inventory is poor and there is no challenge. The fact different decisions impact the outcome doesn’t make it challenging. If any, it makes it more interesting. If you want to watch a show better watch on a big screen on the TV. I hope it’s not a sign for the future of adventure games. It’s not giving respect to the players. If not the bad language and the violence this game was appropriate for 5 years old. Taking one star off since I get many dialogs with the choice is blank message which looks very poor. Just emphasize again the attention to graphics and special effects and less to the player. ### 2/5 — Good story but *2018-05-01, version 1.3* I didn’t know where to email to get my money back. I bought and played the whole story. Half the time the choices read “this option is blank” and I unknowingly had to choose one affecting the outcome of the entire story. Then on chapter 5 “ cry wolf” the spoken words just disappeared, the background noise was there, the people were moving and talking but no words were there. I basically didn’t get to play the last half of the episode until I figured out that there was subtitles I could put on so at least I could read those and know what was happening. I have never once complained about something on a game but for 15 dollars it is not worth the amount of complications I had. I’m sorry, the story line was really good and I’m really sad I didn’t get to enjoy it. ### 3/5 — A good story haunted by glitches and faulty audio *2020-06-09, version 1.3* This is one of my favorite Telltale Titles, and I downloaded it on my after having watched a play through years ago and wanting to make it my own. The visuals and setting were just as engaging as I remember, but the glitches got to a point of unforgivability. Every other choice, all my options were replaced by ‘this choice is blank’, forcing me to blindly choose dialogue. Exiting and reloading never helped, and this seriously affected my gameplay. At the end, the final cutscene, the audio dropped out and I had to turn on subtitles because the dialogue files disappeared. This ruined the ending for me, as the pivotal final twist lost all its power. This is a good game at heart, but it’s impossible to enjoy with all the technical issues it suffers from. Sloppy animation, glitchy choices, clunky mechanics, and bad audio. ### 3/5 — Stuck on lift scene ep1 pls fix *2019-08-07, version 1.3* Gave a 3 because i know just how AMAZING this game is as i’ve played it on playstation. Just found out that they have a mobile version too and i’d love to get it where i can play it anywhere. Would’ve got 5/5... if only the mechanics are good. After i push the button for the lift, it gets stuck. Can’t go in, can’t move anywhere. Clicking the name plaque thing unstuck the game but it happens again when i try to go in the lift. Basically can’t proceed. Thank you to honoring my purchases to the company that originally released it. I grew up in the late 80s and early 90s on Lucas arts Indiana Jones games and monkey Island. The wolf among us is an excellent game and the most immersive experience I ever had in a game. Thank you for working on part two. Take your time with it, make it good. When I played this game (at 3:00) I was jumping outta my almost the whole time it was scary but I liked it! The fact that these wonderful games are disappearing as a type, especially MC Story Mode, makes me wish I had gotten these games sooner. The story is thrilling and mysterious and the graphics are amazing. I love telltale games because your choices change the whole game and because you can interact with the things around you. The fighting scenes are pretty intense and I love it, but the chapters are short and I wish all the seasons and chapters were unlocked. I would watch lots of ads for them but it's their right to charge for them. They at least made the first one free. While this isn't a game that is all action, I feel that it balances out between inspections and fight sequences. I love the comic cell style visuals of this game, and any game that has choices and consequences is a win in my book. I just wish you could walk around more and try to figure things out for yourself (like a Nancy Drew game). People need to stop leaving 1 star reviews because they have to pay for a real game with plot and action.
