However, the app didn’t work. It said we were connected but I couldn’t hear anything, I assumed that he was fast asleep but came back and he was screaming. I was really upset that I’d trusted this app and left him. It also doesn’t let you play your own white noise etc and did not connect over 4g as advertised. Best, Maria ### 1/5 — Lost usage *2021-08-31* I bought this app for the sounds and songs. Now with an update to the app, I can no longer play them and have to purchase them again! Tonight I went to put my 3 children to bed and to my dismay and frustration this app has changed to a baby monitor. This is not the original intended purpose of this app. I am now at a loss as I have no white noise to help my children sleep unless I upgrade the other wonder weeks app ( the leaps app) at a further cost to me and I’m left with this baby monitor app which is of no use to me and is not what I originally purchased. The monitor doesn’t work and the information files have virtually no information. ### 1/5 — Monitor stopped working *2019-09-30, version 1.0.3* The main WW app was upgraded and now this app won’t work! I shouldn’t have to pay AGAIN to use the monitor. What a rip off ### 2/5 — Good in theory *2019-04-29, version 1.0.3* I was excited about this app, but it isn’t all I had hoped it would be. The recordings for the sound machine are super annoying as there is a huge gap in the recording when played as a “continuous loop.” This app really doesn’t have the features that would support being a paid app. Wish I had done more research before pressing “buy” but I trusted it would be good considering how great the otherWonder Weeks App has been. ### 1/5 — Not a well thought out app *2019-04-02, version 1.0.3* I really wanted this to work but I have to give it a low rating. I PAID FOR this app on apple but have a chrome tablet and I do not want to pay another 2.00 thru google play to have a pairing device. This should have been thought thru better unless the app developer is trying for more money which I’m not willing to pay. ### 2/5 — Annoying that you have to re-scan the CR code every time you want to use the monitor *2019-04-01* The picture is nice and clear, along with audio but the big drawback for me is that it seems you have to re-scan the CR code every time you want to use the monitor. Takes forever to connect in the first place if at all. I sorely regret spending money on this app. Once you close the came and you try to reopen and connect to the monitor again it gives you an error message saying that the baby unit is taking too long to connect (even if the baby unit shows it is streaming). The only way I can get it to work again is if I delete and download it again which is inconvenient and annoying. ### 1/5 — Can’t connect *2022-03-24* I have very strong Wi-Fi at home, none of my other apps have issues with it. Every time I try to connect for the BabyMonitor it tells me to check to make sure that the Wi-Fi is strong enough. Very disappointed wonder weeks. I bought the app on both devices and then for it not to work was nearly £5 completely wasted. You can turn your phone into one and there’s no need to buy a pricey stand alone monitor! I love that this utilizes my phone’s super clear camera so it feels like a high end product. We have a small home so I thought we could do without a monitor but in recent weeks, I’ve wanted one. It’s so nice to have this app because now we have a monitor and it’s high quality! There are alerts when baby starts making noise (or there are any noises). This app was so easy to connect and with purchase sharing, my partner and I only needed to buy the app once. It’s nice that every time we use it, we can change which phone becomes the baby device and which is the parent device. Just be aware you won’t be able to use your phone if yours is monitoring the baby as your camera is used and should be pointed at them. I chose this one because I have the wonder weeks app and really enjoy it. I only gave it 2 stars because when I selected a sound it is only a 3 minutes recording, there is a continuous loop option but after every 3 minutes there is a few second pause in the sound before it loops from the beginning. It was not calming to listen to when the sound kept changing, I ended up downloading a FREE sound app in the middle of the night which works way better.
